Jacinta Price calling for Royal Commission to child abuse in indigenous communities
Why did Labor, the Greens and Senator (David) Pocock all vote down the motion to have a Royal Commission into Abuse in Aboriginal communities? For months they have been campaigning that a yes vote for the Voice was all about making Aboriginal lives better but first chance they get, they smack down.

The shadow Indigenous affairs minister became visibly emotional as she revealed she must now break the news to those who had asked her to put the motion forward on their behalf and described it as “unfathomable”.

"As I have said many times before the gap is more about place than race....it exists between the cities and remote Australia."

She says Australians voted for real outcomes for indigenous Australians.
