Backyard Fountainscape created in Eden Prairie, MN
What a cool opportunity to create our client's not 1st but 2nd water feature! That's how it goes, water features can be addicting ?

In this build we're creating a fountainscape which is the combination of a pondless waterfall & decorative fountain elements from #aquascape Like we used here with 6 stacked slate walls & one stacked slate sphere. We complimented it with the dark superior stone we have up here in #Minnesota

This week we're starting project #21 with part one of a two part project! One of the things I absolutely love about our career is that there's always a challenge to problem solve. Every project is different, every access point is different and every project has something unique about it! This project brought on a 1st for me... wait until you see how we got the excavator into the back yard! Thank you for joining us on episode #49 where we're showcasing our Medium Water Garden Koi Pond! This was a challenging build because of access. Where we were replacing an old outdated pond was elevated, making access nearly impossible. Impossible without our Mini Machines!!! Our combo was perfect for this tight access. You'll notice that we had to plan the whole process before we even started working. I love how this project turns out! Even in a smaller back yard in Uptown Minneapolis MN we can deliver your personal oasis! All the waterfalls are oriented towards the home, making it perfect to enjoy looking out any of the windows. We took out a 20 year pond and delivered a Pond King piece of Art! If you've been following us since our 1st season vlogging then you'll know we think #cancersurvivor 's are awesome!!! Erica The Pond Queen was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019. Things are as positive as possible with Erica and her continued push towards health and happiness! Cancer hits 85% of the time with no family history and it hit one of our friends, Ryan! He went through an intensive battle a few years ago and has been healthy since. Him and his wife Ali have always shared a beautiful condo but never had their own yard. Then they found this home in Eagan, #minnesota and asked if we could help in anyway with their #backyard remodel and especially with the sound of running water? YES!!! Was my answer... my only free weekend was the 4th of July, but to give someone fighting the good fight a healing sanctuary rallied our team to bring this work of #art to life over one weekend! I love my job!  Thank you for joining us for episode number 176, 4th of July weekend build for friends!!! I'm excited to so this waterfall off to our audience! This is another one of our Medium Pondless Waterfall Packages built into an existing hillside! We use an Aquascape Aquasurge 4k to 8k adjustable pump and a 10' by 30' liner to get a 20ft long Waterfall with awesome twists and turns! I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing on a holiday than helping others while creating and utilizing my talents! Life is good and I can't wait to show you what they do with this as it matures over time! The best thing ever is being able to sit and enjoy our own work and with it being for friends, we have been blessed to be able to just sit and enjoy. When these clients first called me I was excited to hear "Nick, I'm neighbors with one of your clients and we really love what they have "! We set up a consultation to see what they had, learn what they didn't like, but most importantly we learned what they do like.  They wanted a feature that was of impact to their yard. They wanted a place to go where they didn't feel like they were in the city. This was a really fun project for me and our team! The setting was in a lush garden and part of a families legacy. Our clients had signed up for a place in line before even having met us.  They watched a few episodes and decided we were the guys to turn their old outdated water feature into their dream #landscape! Within a few minutes of meeting in person and seeing how they wanted to use the space we had a great idea! Our clients first contacted me to come look at adding a water feature to their new home. They had built their own #koipond at their previous home and remember just home much work it was. After chatting a little bit they had told me they didn’t really have interest in owning fish again. I suggested that a #PondlessWaterfall would be a perfect fit for their goals. She really wanted to have something by her office window and something where people could gather and enjoy the sound of running water together. I love the way that this project turned out and I can not wait to see what they do to compliment it with plantings! It is like #Thepondguy says, a water feature makes a house a home! Welcome home! Thank you for joining us for episode number 158, project number 24 (the last of the year) of 2021. This week we are installing our Small Plus Pondless Waterfall Package. It is a minimum of 10 feet in length and we use a wider liner and larger pump to really fill the space with moving water. We had a large build to get the desired effect to make sure it was going towards the new patio. We also redid an old gravel flower bed and updated it with character boulders, mulch and a designated seating bench. We also added a bunch of lighting to the landscaping using Aquascape Inc’s Pathway lights and under water lights. We really end the year with a huge transformation to their home and the fun is just getting started! The client has a great design eye and I am excited to see how the plant the area!
