I'm playing with my own custom ModPack, Purist Hard Difficulty and my own custom Shaders. I have been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for more than a decade when the first game came out. I'm a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. purist and I know the atmosphere of the game very well and its soul, so well as if it were my own son. I have played all the franchise games, multiple times during all these years. Also played total conversions like Stalker Soup a.k.a Narodnaya Solyanka, also Call of Chernobyl, Misery and others. I have played Stalker Gamma and EFP in the past... I ended very disappointed and not impressed at all to be honest, so I started working on my own modpack after that. To build my own modpack I have chosen the best mods out there and discarded those that make nonsensical and unnecessary changes to the essence of the game, such as those that adds pointless tedious mechanics, colorful childish textures, horrible looking soulless HUDs, or others that add any kind of content that does not fit into the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. world either. My Modpack still in the works, I am rigorously testing compatibility between the different mods, playing over the days to see how well they blend into the game and so on. Maybe in the future when the conclusions are solid, I will be able to share it with others, who knows!. This time I'm playing as a loner Stalker. I have been playing this saved game for a couple of weeks. It has been a real challenge to achieve all I have, but it is not over yet, the struggle continues. I have not decided to align myself with any faction for the moment, because I love the Stalker loner life, untethered and free.
