When we arrived, our usual location at Darlington Bank Top Station was closed off for use by staff and contractors, so at short notice we went to the end of the next street, hoping to view the trains at the staion bridge. This wasn't much cop, especially due to 'out of control' station vegetation. So, in a lull between trains, we changed location to a place we had to view through railway prison fencing, which was a far better option.

The Moon has a diameter of 2,159 miles' & is 238,000 miles' away from us yet, WE CAN SEE IT??? WTF?
Bloody good eyesight when our eyeballs' do NOT have Zoom capabilities' of their own & I don't think I should ever call our cameras' names' again considering they can get a pretty clear zoom picture over such an immense distance on an object which, at only 2,159 miles' across, wouldn't even be visible as a pinpoint at 238,000 miles' away..
