In early November (yes, this is Canada, we have snow in November), I decided to film a music video for it. After a month of editing it in my spare time, here it is! It's not actually about psychedelic mushrooms (which I have never taken and have no desire to take). My main mushroom inspirations were actually Ophiocordyceps unilateralis (a fungus that takes over the minds of ants), and Tricholoma murrillianum (which are tasty). This video is dedicated to my drama teacher, Robyn Sheppard, who is retiring this year. Thank you for everything you taught our crazy class, Shep. The song was inspired by a short play about mushroom people, written by Ginger and Leo in the aforementioned crazy class. The wooden mushrooms were made by my little brother.
