Strikers 1999 (ストライカーズ1999), also known as Strikers 1945 III, is a vertically-scrolling shoot 'em up game developed and originally released by Psikyo in 1999 for the arcades. The game is a sequel to Strikers 1945 II, chronologically taking place 54 years after the first two games in the series.
This game, licensed by Taito is an horizontal scrolling brawler, featuring 15 stages. Our protagonist, Joe, has to beat all his enemies and the different final bosses with their corresponding abilities. At the end of each boss, there are bonus stages in which you can drive a motorcycle and shoot other drivers.

P.O.W.: Prisoners of War, released in Japan as Datsugoku -Prisoners of War- (脱獄 -Prisoners of War- Prison Break: Prisoners of War), is a side-scrolling beat 'em up produced by SNK originally released as an arcade game in 1988.[1]
King's Field III (キングスフィールドIII) is a medieval-themed first-person role-playing video game developed by FromSoftware for the PlayStation in 1996.[2] It is the third entry in the King's Field series and the last one for the original PlayStation.
Comix Zone is a 1995 beat 'em up video game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. An unusual feature of the game is that it is set within the panels of a comic book with dialogue rendered within talk bubbles and sprites and backgrounds possessing the bright colors and dynamic drawing style favored by superhero comics. This style had been used in video games previously, for example Ocean Software's Batman: The Caped Crusader in 1988,[1] but Comix Zone stretched the idea to such an extent that Sega applied for and were granted a patent for a "Videogame system for creating a simulated comic book game".[2]
Streets of Rage 3, known in Japan as Bare Knuckle III (ベア・ナックルIII, Bea Nakkuru Surī), is a side-scrolling beat 'em up developed and published by Sega in 1994 for the Sega Genesis. It is the third installment of the Streets of Rage series and the last game in the original Genesis trilogy. It was later released for the Japanese version of Sonic Gems Collection for the Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2, and for the Wii Virtual Console in September 2007. The game also appeared in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
