I have no clue what it was, but if you have an explanation I would like to hear it. There were no planes in the sky at the time, and the road was pretty far off for it to be something from there. However, there is a railroad about a mile norths. The problem with this explanation however, is that the trumpet sound very much felt like it was coming from the mountains itself, and completely enveloped and surrounded me.
