Dealing with sin in the church can be challenging. It requires fostering a culture of grace, teaching biblical truths, promoting accountability, providing pastoral guidance, and cultivating a culture of repentance. This ongoing process requires patience, love, and reliance on God’s guidance.
What is an "Open Door"? | Pastor Bong Baylon | RLCC
Christians are unaware of what is available to them because of Christ. Consequently, they miss the opportunities that God makes available for them if they will trust in Him. They waste their time and resources dabbling in worldly pursuits or false attachments. Many settle for mediocrity in their Christian lives instead of experiencing the glory of God. What they need is a deep understanding of the concept of "Open Door." What is an "Open Door"?

Knowing God | By Pastor Bong Baylon | RLCC
16 “No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. 17 For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. 18 Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them.” (Luke 8:16-18)
Knowing about God and His kingdom is a gift. He allows us to know the truth so that we can grow in our faith. If we are faithful with what we know about God, He will reveal more to us. If we are unfaithful, we will lose what we think we know about God. This is a principle that is important to understand and remember.

25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?” 27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” 28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.” 29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” 30 In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’ 36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” 37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.” (Luke 10:25-37)
Being a disciple of Jesus is God's calling for all of us. But it is also a calling that has a definite purpose. We are to become faithful and fruitful over time through our cooperation with the Holy Spirit who is at work in us to make us willing and able to do his will. It is not simply about going through the routines and rituals of the Christian life. It's about a life of adventure and discovery of God's will as we follow Jesus each and every day.

Main Idea: “To be a faithful and fruitful disciple, we must remain purposeful.” (“Para maging tapat at mabungang alagad, kailangan manatiling may layunin.”)
How do you become a faithful and fruitful disciple?
Three Important Principles to Remember
1. Salvation is not just about the afterlife (v.25).
2. Discipleship is about love without excuses (vv.26-29).
3. Mission is about being a neighbor to a person in need (vv.30-37).

Welcome to Day 1 of RLCC Daily Devo. The title of our devotional today is - "Fulfilling Your Roles and Responsibilities"
Scripture Passage: Genesis 12:10-20
Meditation: In Genesis 12:10-20, Abraham needed to learn how to be responsible toward Sarai, his wife. This is part of his preparation. Like Abraham, we need to consider the roles and responsibilities that we have in our lives today.
Personal Application: Today, reflect on the roles and responsibilities you have within your family, at work, or in your community. How can you honor God by being faithful and fruitful in these roles as part of your mission preparation?
Prayer: Lord, help me recognize the importance of fulfilling my current roles and responsibilities in preparation for my mission. Give me the strength and wisdom to be faithful and fruitful in all I do. In Jesus' name, amen.

11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring! 13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry 14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. 15 For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. 22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! (Romans 11:11-24)
We are saved by grace through faith and this is a gift from God. We cannot boast about it. Neither should we treat unbelievers as if we are superior to them. This is the danger that we must always guard against. Some Christians become arrogant because of their status as saved people and they look down on others who are not yet saved. They assume that since unbelievers are under God's judgment now, they will always be under God's judgment. We must also have the right attitudes toward unbelievers.

Main Idea: “Because of God's mercy, we must always have hope and humility.” (“Dahil sa awa ng Diyos, dapat meron tayong pag-asa at kababaan ng loob palagi.”)
What should our attitudes be toward unbelievers?
Two Attitudes
1. We must always have hope (11-16).
2. We must always have humility (17-24).

There is a dimension of prayer that goes beyond words to a simple, loving presence. This is called contemplation. Contemplation is a form of prayer that goes beyond words to the loving presence of God. It allows us to connect with Him in a profound and sacred way, experiencing unity and oneness with Him. In this state, we let go of our thoughts and desires and surrender to the whispers of God, allowing love and grace to flow to us and through us from Him.
