This is the COMPLETE 26 minute set!
Anus the Menace at the extremely missed Raji's in Hollywood, 9 July, 1992. The bill for this show was Butt Trumpet, Oiler, Naked Aggression and of course, Anus the Menace. Footage of all four bands has been sitting in a drawer for 19 years and is just now surfacing, thanks to Katz and myself working together to transfer and restore these very old and brittle tapes.
Video shot by Katz, and the tape was untouched for 19 years. Katz sent it to me, and I have carefully transferred it and did a quick restore job on it to get it uploaded so that you all could see it.
Enjoy!

...played pretty much the entire evening. Pure genius! I wish I had more footage but I was inside with a merch booth all night selling BUTT TRUMPET memorabilia to benefit Dukey. Made him exactly $420 (oddly enough), too! But that is why I couldn't stay outside for long. So I was inside documenting what I could from there. Anyway, here is what footage that I could get.

PART 3: HOW TO LOSE WHAT WE HAVE
"Drama of an authoritarian (probably Communist-type) coup in the U.S., assisted by apathy, an indifference to federal intervention in community affairs, and lack of economic incentive."

I cut this off early because it is an old tape and there are some major glitches at the almost 13 minute mark that knocked the audio WAY out of sync. Can I fix it? Yes, of course. But it takes time and I've been up for two days grieving my lost friend Bill. So I am posting what works to my satisfaction for now.
This is never before seen video of one of two shows this band played (according to Kim, who I asked earlier) with the other was at Al's Bar. I might have video of that one too but my archive is huge and I am spun right now and need sleep.
Anyway, Bill (Pat Fear) and Trace (his drummer in White Flag) and Kim and Ronnie of the Muffs (Kim is also in the Pixies now) got together and made a parody 7-inch of the first MUFFS single (which Bill also engineered) for fun. They released it on Sympathy For The Record Industry and to celebrate that, played a couple of shows as the lineup of that record.
The record is considered a classic and until now, I don't think ANY footage of this performance (or any other by this "lineup") has ever surfaced. I don't even think anyone remembered that I videotaped it. Hell, I didn't even remember that I videotaped it until I found it in my archive while I was looking for other White Flag stuff to share. I did book the show though (I was a booker at Raji's then), I remember that much.
Enjoy this footage. It's Bill, Trace, Ronnie and Kim having a great time sharing the stage as friends. It was an honor to witness and yes, I also have the 7". It's great. If nobody posts it or if it isn't posted somewhere yet and nobody minds then maybe I'll do a transfer.
R.I.P. Bill. I'm really upset that you just left like that. Last time I talked with you you told me that you felt like crap but you were "stable". I know, as always, you didn't want people to worry about you. Well, we did anyway and this sucks. But then again, you always were the true friend that was willing to piss me off rather than BS me. I thank you for that.
That's all I got for now. Up for two days grieving and if I don't make sense I don't care right now. I'm uploading this and then going to curl up with my wife and kitty and try to get some sleep.
