Imagine that your church is doing an "anthem"/ "special music"/ "performed song" (or whatever you call a song that the congregation/parishioners don't sing along with) where you don't want lyrics on the audience screen, but you DO want them on the stage screen? How do you do it? Well, there are a few ways, BUT there's a feature in ProPresenter (it's been there for a few version at least) that is made specifically for this. What is it and how do you use it? http://TrinityDigitalMedia.com/ctcscreencasts ProPresenter 6 Tutorial: Corner pinning
Let's imagine that you need to do keystone correction because your projector isn't perfectly aligned to the screen. Normally, the function in the projector is the way to go, but if you can't do that or if there's a reason that doing it with software is better, ProPresenter has a feature called "corner pinning" that does the exact thing you need.

http://TrinityDigitalMedia.com/church-tech 5 reasons you might not be podcasting (even though you think you are)
1. You only upload to YouTube or Vimeo.
2. You upload wav or aiff files.
3. You export videos that aren't using the H.264 codec (and don't transcode into ones that are).
4. You think you upload your show directly to iTunes.
5. You don't know what an RSS feed is, how to get it (or you've never tested it).

http://TrinityDigitalMedia.com/church-tech The Stage Display in Propresenter 5
This is a pretty cool feature in ProPresenter 5. You can use one of these adapters (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005G306I2/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B005G306I2&linkCode=as2&tag=trinitydigi06-20) to add the ability to create a discrete stage display that you can use to show specialized informtion to people on stage or through the Renewed Vision Stage Display app.
The display is customizable so you can put up what you'd like for the people using the monitor to see.

On today’s ProPresenter Show (brought to you by ChurchTechU.com), why you should not use ProPresenter’s live video feature to put live video on your screen.
One of the questions I get over and over and over again is how to use the live video feature in ProPresenter.
I always advise against using it. The right way to do it is to take the output of ProPresenter and send it into a video switcher. The reason you don’t want to use ProPresenter like a video switcher is latency.
According to an article I found on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio-to-video_synchronization), the standard for latency between audio and video for broadcast television is 45 milliseconds or about 1-1.5 frames (at 30 frames a second). It also said that most people don’t notice lag until 100 milliseconds or more (which is about 3.3 frames).

http://TrinityDigitalMedia.com/church-tech On today's Tech Help for Churches, The two types of free music you can use on YouTube
If you log into YouTube and go to the creator's studio, then click on Audio Library (or go to http://youtube.com/audiolibrary/music), there are two sets of music you can use in your videos.
[tweet "YouTube provides two lists of free music. You may be tempted to go with the songs you know, but it comes at this cost:"]
The first is royalty free and free for you to use in your videos no matter whether you upload them to YouTube or not. The downside is that most of these songs are ones you've never heard of before.
