In one of the important strategic areas, the unexpected happened: during the crossing, a secret rocket launcher - the latest weapon - sank. The Soviet command decides to destroy the rocket launcher so that it does not fall into the hands of the enemy. To complete this task, a special purpose team is formed. The famous "Katyusha" has left its unforgettable mark on the history of the Great Patriotic War since July 14, 1941, when this secret weapon under the command of Captain I. A. Flerov literally wiped out the station in the city of Orsha along with the German echelons on it with troops and equipment. The first samples of rockets launched from a mobile carrier (vehicles based on the ZIS-5 truck) were tested at Soviet test ranges from the end of 1938. On June 21, 1941, they were demonstrated to the leaders of the Soviet government, and literally a few hours before the start of the Great Patriotic War, it was decided to urgently deploy the serial production of rockets and a launcher, which received the official name "BM-13". The Nazis captured some rocket launchers. Some of them were destroyed by Soviet intelligence officers after the capture. But many remained in the hands of the enemy. However, the enemy was never able to guess and repeat the success of the "Katyusha".

The action takes place in 1920 during the Civil War. Crimea was on the eve of complete liberation from the Whites. The "elusive avengers", returning from the next mission, managed to knock out the white army's airplane and capture the pilot. Documents were found in the pilot's tablet, indicating that the White Guards had built secret defensive fortifications around the city, which was to be taken by the Red Army.
