I did a quick run in Dynamis - Windurst with trusts. Be careful in this area! You can still die at level 99 if you are not careful! One of the reasons I regret quitting Final Fantasy 11 in 2006 is I missed the opportunity to experience an event called Dynamis the way it was meant to be experienced. In order to participate in Dynamis, a player must have a job at least level 65. I quit playing when I had Black Mage at level 64.
Dynamis is basically the Final Fantasy 11 version of a raid. It's where players could get good gear and a relic weapon that can be upgraded 4 times. It took so much effort to completely upgrade a relic weapon that few players did. I'm glad that I was able to use trusts to see what Dynamis is like when I started playing again in 2018, but I know it's not the same as running Dynamis with other players in 2006 when level 75 was the max level. I'm also glad Square did away with the requirement to pay 1 million Gil to get into Dynamis.
The black & purple Black Mage gear that I used for Style Lock while was acquired from various Dynamis runs. I really wanted the sorcerer's set the first time I played Final Fantasy 11. I was so happy to finally get it when I started playing again so many years later.
I recorded my character exploring Mhaura. This small town is by Buburim Peninsula. I don't remember spending a lot of time in Mhaura the first time I played Final Fantasy 11, and I didn't spend much time my 2nd time. These days, people gather in Mhaura to do an end-game event called Ambuscade.

I recorded my character exploring Southern San d'Oria, Northern San d'Oria, Chateau d'Oraguille, and Port San d'Oria. I had no interest in doing any of the San d'Oria missions. I only spent time here to do other missions. When I started playing Final Fantasy 11 in 2004, I was going to play an Elvann with San d'Oria as my home nation. A friend by the name Alex Petrov persuaded me to start a character in Bastok. Archangels and AlexandraStar were created in Bastok.

I recorded my character exploring the Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi. I love the way these types of buildings look. The architecture of the ancients is a perfect blend of something that looks old yet also looks very advanced. I only spent time in the palace to complete missions. The only complaint that I have with some areas is they are difficult to navigate. Square intentionally designed some areas like this palace like a maze so there's only 1 way to navigate from point A to point B despite it looking straightforward on the map. I would have spent more time exploring certain areas because they look neat if they weren't so difficult.

Sony made an interesting decision to advertise the Playstation 2 by predicting what the Playstation 9 might be. We are up to the Playstation 5. Just 4 more to go to see if Sony was right.
I walked out of Iron Forge and saw this. I don't remember what occasion or special event was going on at the time. I just remember thinking it was neat.
