After visiting the ruins, discover the living Mayan culture in Coba at ALDEA MAYA XUNAAN-KAB a Mayan village 5 minutes past the Coba ruins on the right hand side. We learn about Mayan spirituality, customs and culture. We visited in full-on sunshine and my camera overheated so please excuse the abrupt ending. What wasn't shared was a small gallery of beautiful primitive art, our fresh tortilla taco lunch and a healing ritual by the Shaman. This is a MUST SEE on your visit to the area. The Mayan people are vegetarian and the animals in this video are cared for and respected. I was so excited to meet the pigs and chickens.
