Mythological Character Studies #22: Lilith #halloween Special
Happy Halloween ladies and gentlemen of the internet, it just so happened that today is the perfect day to upload the last entry in our trilogy of Biblical antagonists; the succubus demon Lilith! (No, I had the idea first and RFB is a fraud!) I know many of you have been looking forward to this one, so hopefully it meets/exceeds your expectations.
Today, we take a look at the Angelic Hierarchy according to Christian Angelology, how our vision of angels has evolved over the centuries, what the specific functions/roles of the various classification of angels are, and a whole bunch of dry humor which takes up nearly an entire hour of your time.

Hello ladies and gentlemen of the internet, and welcome to a critical examination of Morrigan (this time pronounced correctly), what she is the Goddess of, which are the characters which compose her being, and what Christianity had to say about her once the Ireland was mass-converted to the J.C. fan club.
Please note: I will not be even remotely touching on the Wiccan Morrigan, as the interpretation of her changes every week, and nobody can agree on one unified identity of her. (Also, Wicca is nonsense, I thought I raised you better.)

Continuing on with our trilogy into biblical antagonists, we have (for many people) the face of evil: Baphomet. Typically confused for Satan himself, this sabbatical goat has a surprisingly recent and interesting history dating back to the first crusade, the French royal court, and eventually the Freemasons themselves.
This video is the companion to a video I made on my second channel, Messiahs and History, which can be found here: https://youtu.be/ZPtWdcLF0iw
(I highly recommend watching the video on the fall of the Templars first)

Believe it or not, there is a very elusive character whose personification has been seen in EVERY major mythology world-wide! Today, I will be discussing the Void a.k.a. Chaos, a.k.a. "The Darkness" and address the role this "character" plays in many creation myths.
(Sorry if this isn't a flawless video, I kind of rushed it out seeing as I basically had to study EVERY mythological creation story I could in order to cite examples.)
A few things to take note of:
1. Yes, I'm well aware that technically, the void is a place, not a person or entity. However, early mythological stories often give human characteristics to non-human things. (i.e. Uranus, Gaia, Te Kore, Ragni, Papa e.t.c.)
2. That damn water seems to leak everywhere because in some accounts of Greek creation, Chaos also had water. And by some accounts still, Nyx was the first being to spring from the void to lay an egg to create Eros, Uranus and Gaia. Obviously, I did not use this as an example.
3. Realize that a lot of these creations myths borrow from one another and were orally recited throughout most of their history, so the stories are never really straight, and there is a LOT of variation in creation stories in mythology.
4. I do apologize if I got anything blatantly wrong, though I'm sure the comment's section will let me know full-well if I did.
Thank you all very much for Watching, and remember to like the video so we can keep the channel rolling!

Trust me, you think you know this story from one of those "Baby's First Mythology Channels" but you've never heard anything quite like this. Those of you not in the know are in for quite a treat...
This video took almost an entire year to edit as I was working on in on and off between projects (hence why I refer to myself as 23 when I've actually been 24 for well over two months now) and since we somehow hit 3000 subscribers during that time, I thought I'd hurry up the editing process and give you folks an extended dose of my finest sarcasm and the blood, sweat, tears and other bodily fluids my body produces, shown in my editing style.

Don't catch rabies from the comments section guys.
So, I have a few notes.
First and foremost, Vioarr was mentioned before in the Prose Edda and was described as a "Silent God"; as to why he was silent, we are unsure, though it is stated he is only slightly weaker in terms of strength than Thor. Aside from that, he does basically nothing the entire rest of the mythology, and the shoe is still incredibly stupid.
In some versions of the myth, Fenrir himself is described as the one who catches and devours the sun to begin Ragnarok, though as I'm sure you all can already ascertain, that makes no logical sense because he's supposedly chained up at the center of the earth with a sword through his snout, so ignore those versions of the story, that's just more of Snoori's nonsense.
I know some of you guys really like to know about special powers and abilities for these monster-like characters, and I only briefly touched-up on that, but basically Fenrir can breath fire and slobbers a lot. When he was bound by the Aesir, it was said his saliva ran out of his mouth so much that it resulted in a new river being formed (a common theme among monsters in mythology). Aside from that, he's a really big, really strong wolf, what else could you ask for?
Somebody did request I do Fenrir on the Typhon video I did a while back, however I don't remember who exactly and YouTube either deleted it, or is hiding it from me so I can't see who. (Thanks for that Susan). If it was you, please make yourself known in the comments so I can credit you for the idea in my next video.
(Bonus points if ANYONE recognizes the next mythology we're covering)

Today, we revisit Japanese Mythology to closely examine the origins and symbolism associated with the Goddess of the sun, Amaterasu.
