Blackrock Rules Australia - Politicians Are Peasants This looks remarkably like a variation on a ponzi scheme. If a business is doing anything other than attempting to make a profit that should be throwing up huge red flags for everyone dealing with that business, no matter how large that business is. What happens when Blackrock, like all other businesses, goes into decline? What happens to all the unprofitable, and undesirable to the population, policies Blackrock have made Australia adopt? Look at Disney, they have ESG'd themselves into a hole they can't get out of. There are rumours that George Lucas and several other large shareholders are in negotiations with Apple to sell sell their shares as part of a hostile take over. My guess is sooner or later the whole thing will come crashing down, and once again the Australian tax payer will be stuck paying for things they never asked for and repeatedly said they didn't want.

This is the stupidest thing I have seen for sometime. Obviously, this is part of the split of LBRY into an app and independant website. By halving the minimum payment it now means it will take everyone twice as long to get sufficient coin to upload. So, that means half the content. I would love to hear these geniuses explain how they ae going to attract people to a website without content.
First they scrapped lbry.tv to get rid of mature content. Now they halve the minimum payment so people can't afford to post.
If they think I am going to pay cash for lbry coins to post they have made a serious miscalculation. First, I can't afford it. Second, even if I could afford it, I still wouldn't purchase for cash. I'm not giving my money to people who censor mature material, and arbitrarialy change conditions in an attempt to get money from me.
Instead, I am going to hunt down that message I got a few months ago from someone who had done a LBRY fork. It may not be any better, but it is clearly time to start looking for alternatives.
