I FINALLY FIGURED OUT WHAT I'VE DOING WRONG. And it still looks bad lmfao. What I've been doing ever since I started drawing again, is picking one color and gradienting using full saturation light to dark. What I ***used*** to do was pick 2-4 different colors and gradient using a mixture of dark and light from each color. I tried that with this image but only the green/blue combo came out relatively decent. I'm so bad with colors now. I used to be able to color pick so much better haha. Never mind the entire color scheme just being bad overall. It wasn't supposed to look like this at all. The yellow wasn't supposed to be so green, the neck was supposed to be more peachy and orange, the horns were brown instead of purple, and even the blue/green was supposed to have blue, green, and a hint of yellow. Also messed up the eye with the pupil xD it's not supposed to go through the outline. What a mess haha. I need to try again. I like the character design. Tried a new type of scales and they came out better than expected. I just need to try applying it to the face instead of only the neck. Free to use finished colored page.
