In episode 456 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one viewer asked about the tools used by the team to track leads for rank and rent.
The exact question was:
What do you use to track leads for rank and rent? I'm using a signalwire number which is cheap but I have to do some development or use something like Zapier to push data somewhere. Just curious what you're using to do all that, thanks!

In episode 191 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAgHWzOqCWQ), one viewer asked about the team's recommended provider for phone verified Google accounts, and whether paying more for aged accounts is worth it.
The exact question was:
Hey, SM team. Glad you were able to work a Hump Day Hangout during the holiday week.
I know you've spoken about Google phone verified accounts in the past (a lot), but I was wondering who you'd recommend of late? Also, is it worth paying $3 per account for aged accounts, instead of $.35 per newer account? Have you had a better ratio of sites sticking on the older accounts? Along these lines, what's the max number of Google Sites and/or Blogger sites you would put on each one? I'd love to max out what I can on them. I plan on having all sites on each account to be niched/themed.
I appreciate the time. Hope to be in the Mastermind soon.

In episode 164 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABvG9CqEBzs), one participant asked if there are any reasons why an optimized branded remodeling contractor video wouldn't lead to high SERPs.
The exact question was:
Are there indications that Google Search doesn't/won't return page 1 results for certain keywords/niches? In particular, is there any reasons an optimized (branded) remodeling contractor video wouldn't lead to high SERPs? Based on cursory research, I don't see videos ranking for major US cities using common niche related keywords.

4:00 1. As part of your service do you take care of all the recipes required for all the networks created? If not, can you as I am looking to do as little of this as possible but still know that it will be set up with quality.
2. Do all these accounts also get set up with the lifestream accounts as well?
3. And does this service include everything in the training - including setting up the profiles pictures, interlinking etc?
4. With the RSS feeds, is this again followed exact like the training with the diversity and details as outlined in the IFTTT SEO Academy? And can I send my own authority sites I want to be connected in with this component? On the information form in sign up - does this relate to the section where you ask for the tags?
5. Also does this service include getting the set up with the RSS directories as well? If not, can this be included in a package? (We recommend this: http://semanticmastery.com/rsssubmit5)
6. And lets suppose I want to set up tiered networks that will be connected to my main blog and then again to my main youtube channel, is this best advised? And if this could be done, would my branded tier have information coming from both my youtube channel and my blog?
See this article: http://support.semanticmastery.com/knowledgebase/if-i-have-a-youtube-channel-and-a-branded-website-can-i-syndicate-both-to-the-same-network-via-ifttt/
7. Can you also set up tiered networks specially for Facebook pages? If then syndicated through the tiered networks, could this potentially hurt me or overload things with then all my links linking back to my website from my Facebook posts?
11:00 8. If I wanted to add more tier 2 networks and I already have a branded tier 1 network, could I pay for 4 new tier 2 networks for the price of $160? And is that strategy best advised - to continue building more tier 2 networks more so than tier 3 networks? Or should that be sufficient?
9. And finally…sorry last finally, I already have some profile connected up already for my branded tier visa vie - pinterest, Facebook, google plus, twitter, instagram….is that an issue or do you just expand on those?
17:00 Schema: Which markups do you use? Have you seen any positive/negative effects?
21:00 Google Account Creation: How do you get around PVA? I heard virtual numbers are disliked by gmail. (check out IFTTT training: http://iftttseo.com)
23:00 What's your recovery email setup look like?
24:00 Question: I'm still a bit foggy on the proper usage of the RSS plugin. My confusion stems from the differences in publishing/syndicating content to my branded Tier 1 and my Tier 2 properties.
My understanding is that content published to my branded Tier 1 does NOT need attribution because it's my content anyway. However, my Tier 2 properties need attribution, thus the Tier 2 properties syndicate the custom RSS feed setup with the plugin.
Therefore, the IFTTT trigger for my Tier 2 properties should be the custom feed URL.... correct?
I'm a visual person - It would be cool to go through a step-by-step walkthrough of publishing and syndicating a blog post, showing the results on Tier 1 and Tier 2 properties.
29:00 I want to know more about topical trust flow. I'm pretty well versed in Majestic Trust Flow, but TTF is still pretty new to me. How can we use IFTTT syndication to manipulate it to our advantage for competitive search terms?
32:00 I know we interlink Youtube about us, Google + about us, pixelhub, Flavors, Re.vu etc which link to each other and other branded properties in our brand network to stack the domain authority, is it wise to also link Web 2.0 Branded the same way?
So for example,
Tumblr
Wordpress
Blogspot
etc
To interlink these and also link to the other properties like Flavor, Pixelhub etc via a Widget bar or via posts?
35:00 If you are using a persona how do you handle using either an adwords account or if your connected to any affiliate program with paypal or other banking component? Is there a way this needs to be handled.
39:00 IFTTT has added Pinterest! hooray!
42:00 is this pretty open forum? or more geared towards the education portion of semantic mastery?
Yes - this is an open Q&A - anything SEO or marketing related!
44:00 What are your first thoughts on the addition to Pinterest to IFTTT?
46:00 I just built a tumblr blog last night and I was able to put links in the description

In episode 230 of Semantic Mastery's weekly Hump Day Hangouts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWuJP6LdgI), one participant asked how to make and 301 redirect a Firebase Dynamic Link.
The exact question was:
Hey SM crew!
Since April 2019 started, Big G is starting to turn off the Goo.gl shortener - of course, the links will be still redirected, but you won't be able to create any more new links.
My question: I don't only understand how to create a Firebase Dynamic Link (it's damn complicated!), but also not how to make a 301 out of them.
