Speaking to Strangers about their Feet Ch. 2 | Be a Gentleman (Not a Creep)
Photography, videography, and approaching women who are strangers to get them to model for me is a great way of treating anxiety without meds, and treating depression with meds.
I’ve been using the concepts in Marsha M. Linehan’s emotion self regulation dbt manual as a way to get rid of anxiety, a way to get rid of depression, and a way to get rid of stress in order to better conversate with women who are strangers about the appreciation of their feet. Here you’ll see the results of my progression.
In Chapter 1 of this video series “Embrace the Struggle,” I dealt with using the method of opposite action as a way of how to handle fear, how to handle sadness, how to handle shame, and how to handle rejection as it relates to talking to strangers, specifically women about their feet. To review, when anxiety, depression, and stress prompt negative emotions producing non-constructive effects, you change the negative emotion by acting opposite to its action urge to produce constructive effects. That is what we can do for ourselves, but how do we suggest another to do the same? What if the women thinks the idea of a strange man approaching her talking to her about her feet and asking for photos is creepy. The answer is be a gentleman about it. What is a gentleman? Why is being a gentleman important? How do you be a gentleman? What are the constructive results of being a gentleman? This video will answer these questions and give you the secret power of attraction when it comes to speaking to strangers about their feet.
