With Alvinnn!!! and The Chipmunks having already done a double length Christmas special, the series could potentially do more episodes like it. If Bagdasarian chooses to do so for seasons 5, 6, and 7, a whole new array of possibilities could be unlocked. Like better storytelling, more varied plots, and adding to the lore of the series.

For a long time in the Alvin and The Chipmunks fandom, people have wondered what the title chipmunk characters actually are. In an attempt to answer that question, I elaborate on other chipmunks from their 80's cartoon as well as their similarities to real chipmunks.

The 80's Alvin and The Chipmunks series was known for occasionally featuring some other talking chipmunk characters besides the ones of the core cast. In the 21st century era of the franchise though, no such characters have appeared so far, and things might stay that way. This is something that I haven't seen a lot of fans talking about, so I decided to give my analysis as to why this may be.

Big Idea Productions' first movie "Jonah : A VeggieTales Movie" was a big box office bomb as the company only gained about $13,000,000 of the film's box office revenue. Which is a real shame because it's a really good film and would've given a lot of potential to the series. But instead it became the one project responsible for the dark turn the series took in later years.

Ever since it was mentioned that Alvin and The Chipmunks would be one of the 20th Century Fox film properties carried over in their merger with Disney, I have been of the belief that Disney would be unable to use those distribution rights. I believe this because Bagdasarian Productions still retains control the characters and all Alvin and The Chipmunks intellectual property. Therefore, the distribution rights for Alvin and The Chipmunks films will expire and Disney will no longer have them. Then this got me thinking of a question that I honestly think more people should be asking: “Which major film studio will Bagdasarian Productions loan the film rights out to if we are in fact ever going to get another chipmunk film ever again?”. By explaining the backgrounds of each company, Bagdasarian's prior involvement with any of them, and making comparisons to other well known film rights, I will determine in order of least to most likely which one Bagdasarian will trust to work with. I also spend way too long rambling about how some entertainment news articles which say Disney will reboot Alvin and the Chipmunks are wrong.
