("Silver Elephant" or the "Company") (TSX:ELEF)(OTCQX:SILEF)(Frankfurt:1P2N) is pleased to announce diamond infill drilling results from its 100%-controlled Pulacayo silver project in the Potosi department of Bolivia.
Silver Elephant adopts industry-recognized best practices in its implementation of QA/QC methods. A geochemical standard control sample and a blank sample are inserted into the sample stream at every 20th sample. Duplicates are taken at every 40th sample. Standards and duplicates (including lab duplicates and standards) are analyzed using Thompson-Howarth plots. Samples are shipped to ALS Global Laboratories in Ururo, Bolivia for preparation and then shipped to ALS Global laboratories in Lima, Peru for analysis. Samples are analyzed using Intermediate Level Four Acid Digestion. Silver overlimits ("ore grade") are analyzed using fire assay with a gravimetric finish. The ALS Laboratories sample management system meets all the requirements of International Standards ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 9001:2015. All ALS geochemical hub laboratories are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for specific analytical procedures.
All samples are taken from HQ-diameter core and split in half by a diamond-blade masonry saw. One-half of the core is submitted for laboratory analysis and the other half is preserved for reference at the Company's secured core facility. Prior to sampling, all core is geotechnically analyzed and photographed and then logged by geologists.

(“HLND”), which is to become the Company’s in-house distribution arm for the north-central region of the United States starting this year, is moving forward after the agreement has become definitive. In a press release dated February 25, 2022, the Company announced its initial agreement to acquire HLND for a purchase price of CAD $6,604,000 in cash and equity (full details of purchase terms are provided in the February 25, 2022 press release). The Company has made a payment of CAD $400,000 towards the CAD $1,254,760 cash portion of the purchase price. Closing of this transaction is expected to occur within ten business days, during which time the Company and HLND are implementing an agreed-upon tax structure. As TAAT becomes a national-scale brand in the tobacco alternatives industry, the Company is seeking to align its practices with certain industry leaders who have converted the distribution components of their respective supply chains into in-house business units to realize benefits that can include cost efficiency and improved visibility into the movement of product to the end consumer. In addition to TAAT and major brands of tobacco cigarettes, HLND also carries a full range of convenience store products such as candy, snacks, beverages, and paper products.

Pond Technologies Holdings Inc. ("Pond") (TSXV:POND)(OTCQB:PNDHF)(FSE:4O0), an ESG company addressing global sustainability challenges of wellness and climate change, has entered into a research agreement with BioCarbN Inc. and its development partner Cross River Infrastructure Partners LLC, along with Livalta/AB Agri, a subsidiary of Associated British Foods (LSE:ABF), and a second major agri-business, to identify strains of algae that could prove beneficial in reducing enteric methane emissions from cattle when included into animal feed.
Enteric methane emissions are the single largest source of direct greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in beef and dairy value chains and a substantial contributor to anthropogenic methane emissions globally. Methane emissions from cattle represent approximately 2 billion metric tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions annually, or approximately the same emissions as the entire nation of India1. Further, the energy used by cattle in producing methane uses approximately 10% of the energy in their feed. Identifying algae that reduce enteric emissions could also lead to an increase in feed efficiency and cost savings for farmers2.
Upon successful completion of the research, all parties aim to progress a commercial product intended to utilize Pond's carbon abating, algae-growth platform that can mass produce a cost-effective microalgae-based feed ingredient.

The total value of the project was CAD$460,000. Driscoll's is the global market leader for fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. With more than 100 years of farming heritage and hundreds of independent growers around the world, Driscoll’s is passionate about growing great tasting berries.

This is our first irrigation project with a multinational food grower like Driscoll's, and I am confident that successful delivery of the project will result in additional projects with Driscoll's, especially in key markets like China.
