Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on October 30-31st 2023
▪️Russian troops have again struck enemy facilities in several regions of Ukraine. In Odesa, the infrastructure of a shipyard and an airport used by the AFU for military purposes were hit.
In the occupied part of the Donetsk People's Republic, the territory of the Kurakhove Power Station and the surrounding industrial area came under fire.
▪️The AFU, for their part, continue to carry out strikes on Russian territory. Two ATACAMS missiles hit Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea, but thanks to measures taken in advance, no serious damage was caused.
The AFU also attempted to strike targets in Sevastopol with missiles, drones and uncrewed boats. Thanks to the professional actions of Russian servicemen, casualties and significant damage were avoided.
▪️The border districts of Bryansk Region also suffered, with at least five settlements coming under fire. Administrative buildings, cars, residential houses and outbuildings were damaged.
▪️Along with shelling, the AFU command continues to increase its grouping along the border with Russia. In addition, the enemy has deployed reserve units in the rear in case of a possible offensive by the Russian Armed Forces.
▪️ Fierce fighting continues on the fronts along the entire line of contact. In the Avdiivka sector, Russian troops repelled several enemy counterattacks in the direction of the ash dump.
To reinforce the grouping, the AFU command transferred Leopard tanks from the Orikhove sector to Avdiivka. However, just the next day one of them was hit by a Russian T-72.
▪️Meanwhile, near Orikhiv, the enemy has regrouped, sending additional reinforcements to the line of contact.
▪️In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian assault units continue to hold the central part of Krynky. Due to the transfer of additional forces, the enemy managed to slightly expand the zone of control to the west.
Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on December 6th 2022
▪️AFU continue to attack Russian airfields. An international airport was attacked in Kursk Region.
As a result of a Ukrainian drone attack, an oil tanker caught fire. The fire was contained, no casualties.
▪️Another attack was attempted on the Crimean Bel'bek airfield near Sevastopol.
However, thanks to the precise work of the air defence the approaching drones were shot down. No casualties or damage are reported.
▪️Ukrainian Command resumed attacks on Russian positions near Kuzemivka.
The advancing units were hit by concentrated artillery fire and forced to retreat.
▪️In Lyman Sector, medium-intensity positional fighting continues near Chervonopopivka and Ploshchanka.
Russian artillery and tactical aviation are striking the spotted enemy positions and groups.
▪️Near Soledar, Russian troops are gradually pushing through the Ukrainian defences in Yakovlivka.
The settlement adheres to the city from the north and control over it will allow to flank the defending AFU grouping.
▪️The central Donetsk was again subjected to massive rocket and artillery fire.
Eight people were killed as a result of the attacks including a member of the DPR People's Council. Twenty people were wounded.
▪️Since the IAEA negotiations on the Zaporizhzhya NPP status failed, AFU resumed strikes on Energodar.
Several hits from heavy artillery systems were recorded in the town and at the plant.

▪️AFU continue strikes on the territory of Bryansk Region. Several residential buildings were damaged in Belevitsa.
At the same time, air defence means successfully intercepted two Ukrainian drones without damage to civilians.
▪️Massive artillery strikes were also recorded in Iskra, Khomutovsky district of Kursk Region.
Ukrainian shelling targeted energy facilities located on the territory of the settlement.
▪️In Belgorod Region, Russian air defense intercepted three enemy missiles over Novy Oskol.
Shelling was also recorded in Murom border town. Residential buildings and a grocery shop were damaged.
▪️The storming of Bakhmut continues. Forward units of Wagner PMC have expanded their area of control on the approaches to Chasiv Yar highway.
AFU continue their desperate resistance, in an attempt to preserve the last path of retreat from the city.
▪️In the centre, Wagner PMC fighters fully control the meat processing plant area and are fighting on the approaches to Bakhmut highway.
The Ukrainian command moves fresh Territorial Defence brigades to the area to prevent the front from collapsing.
▪️Ukrainian formations once again shelled the capital of Donetsk People's Republic.
Artillery shells damaged a school building and several residential buildings in Kuibyshivs'kyi district. One woman was wounded.
▪️Fierce fighting continues in Mar'inka. Russian motorized riflemen were able to advance and clear residential buildings behind School No. 2.
At the same time, to the south, the assault on AFU positions near Pobjeda resumed.
