We will be free, eating real meat, and we will be happy.

I do not care if Crustaceans fall under arthropods, the anatomy and biology of Crustaceans is very different from that of land insects in various ways, which I shall list some of:

Crustaceans and Insects have different methods of absorbing oxygen; Crustaceans use gills, or book lungs like a spider, while insects use spiracles and internalized tubes called tracheae.

Insects on land use hydraulic muscles, crustaceans use fibre based muscles; similar to what larger land animals have.

Both have very different body plans, Insects have three distinct body segments (head, thorax, abdomen), while crustaceans have two (head and thorax)
Insects have three pairs of legs, while crustaceans have at least five.
Crustaceans have two sets of antennae, while insects have one.
Most insects can fly, most of said flying ones having one or two pairs of wings.
