July 5, 2019: Interview with set designer Michelle Tracey, who tells me my mattress will star in a play about the dating life of disabled gay men! ⭐️ On July 5, my condo sale closed and I had to move out, and I had one last thing to sell: My mattress. It had some discoloration, but was comfortable. I had an ad on Facebook Marketplace in various groups, and there were hundreds of mean, mocking comments, saying I’m a sick person, it’s a crime scene, etc. I even had psychos with no lives sending cruel direct messages to me. So when “Jord” messaged “I think that may be perfect for me”, I was sceptical. But his friend Michelle actually showed up the next morning. I asked why this was so perfect, and she told me that it would be used in scenes where disabled men are lowered onto a bed. This is such a perfect ending to me moving out of the condo above the film festival - The last item I moved out is used in a play, and one that spreads a positive message, no less! I’m very proud of my mattress. It gets to act with actors Andrew Gurza, Ken and Frank. The show is Access Me (formerly Boys In Chairs). With the move, I’ve been behind in posting. So the shows at Pia Bouman School on July 13-14 has passed. But I’ll let you know if there are more chances to see it.
