I ended up finding a toy keyboard for $5 which was pretty cool. It has drum pads, a sequencer and even 2 polyphony. I've mostly been using Bassline and a bit of Tubesynth. I figured it would be a good time to explore the Electric plugin synth. I had in mind to find a wurlitzer type sound and use it as the starting point for a beat. This is definitely not a tutorial but I'm going to take a brief overview of some of Electric's parameters and experiment with them a bit to find a sound that I like. This is the 2nd week of a #10weekbeatchallenge I've created for myself. The challenge is to create a beat and finish it each week. A finished beat includes an arrangement and at the very least a rough mix.
