"Tears of a Clone"

In a cyberpunk future the population is split into two categories, those who can afford to live on the higher floors of gigantic skyscrapers and buildings and those who live near the polluted ground floors and the sewers infested with crime, cannibals and black marketeers that sell human organs. Human cloning has become a huge, if shady, business and those rare people whose genetic sequences are not prone to disease or defects can sell it for huge amounts to the shady cloning and organ-selling corporations. However, they are also targeted by grinders, who simply kidnap such people to keep them sedated in huge human storages, clone them and sell their organs against their will. A shady private detective is hired by an old rich man to find his "daughter". The P.I. visits his black market connection from the ground level. He informs him that a girl that fits his description had in fact been seen there trying to sell her genetic sequence. The P.I. presumes that she's been kidnapped and teams up with a local likable hacker with the Mohawk, who guides him to one of the storage buildings, where she might be kept. Things take a violent turn and the P.I. goes for the easy way out.
