The situation in Israel on October 15

• At night, the Israeli Air Force struck Aleppo International Airport in Syria. The runway was damaged and the airport was partially disabled.

• Israel has restricted the use of GPS near the border with Lebanon. At the moment, there are artillery duels between the IDF and units of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

• Clashes with Palestinian DRGs continue in border towns. Fire contacts are known in the suburbs of Ashkelon, Ruhama, and Netivot.

• The actions of the Israeli Air Force inside the Gaza Strip and near its borders, as a few days ago, are aimed at local targets and do not yet affect the activity of Palestinian MLRS.

• Evidence appears that before the start of the ground operation, the Hamas paramilitary structures could have accumulated about 200 thousand mortar shells, as well as about 40 thousand short- and medium-range missiles for attacking Israeli cities. Gradually, the vector of attack on the IDF is shifting towards loitering ammunition and unmanned systems.

• The northern belt of Gaza is gradually turning into fortified areas: after the local population left there, the activity of armed people was noticed. How they appear between blocks and how they move at the moment is unknown. A network of underground passages is probably used.

• Hamas is gradually expanding the geography of its rocket attacks. On the evening of October 14 and the morning of October 15, strikes were carried out in Tel Aviv and in the Netanya area, 90 km from the Gaza Strip.
