The Halloween Island / Super Mario World (smw) - スーパーマリオワールド: スーパーマリオブラザーズ4
And the final game from the Halloween Special series is The Halloween Island, a hack of the SNES Super Mario World with an entire plot made specifically for Halloween, as the name of the hack already suggests. The game is about a giant masked Koopa that stared to haunt the island, just that, you have to find this giant Koopa and defeat it to bring the island back to normal. Some background, objects, and enemies sprites were redrawn to better match an horror themed game, like some level and pipe tiles got some blood on them, Halloween pumpkins were added to the levels, Koopas now being zombie Koopas, Hammer Bro like the classical Super Mario Bros was added with modified sprites that I don't know how to describe what it looks like, and many others like the overworld being remodelled to better match the game. The behaviour of some enemies was also changed. The game is not long, even though the levels look a little bit bigger than the original Super Mario World, there are only 9 exits, and the only boss present in the game is the Giant Koopa, the final boss, so mostly you will be able to beat it in less than one hour. This is the last game of the Halloween Special series, and I think it is a great way to finish it with a game that carries Halloween in its name. The game is not hard, it is kind of funny to play on Halloween. If you are a hardcore Mario enjoyer, this hack doesn't bring a lot of new stuff, but the way the levels are designed is actually quite nice, and it has its own challenges, even though you can overcome them pretty fast since the game is very short. I recommend you to play it if you are not in the mood to play a long game or if you feel like playing a Halloween / horror themed game.
This is the well known Holly Wood / El Gado / Rolento immortal bug. You can easily activate it by damaging them until they are one hit to die, and then one of the players grab and the other kills them with the Punch + Jump special attack.
There are 3 ways to deal with this bug, the first one is by rushing and leaving the immortal enemy behind, which will despawn them, the second one is if you are at the end of an area, if you let the time of the lock expire, your character will leave all the enemies alive behind, and the last one is by dying once and when your character respawn, the bug will be deactivated only for grabs, any hit you give to the immortal enemy, you won't be able to be grab them again, and you will have to die one more time to have this single change to grab, and when you grab the enemy, any attack of the grab like knee, headbutt, throw, pile driver will be able to kill the enemy.
This is a test of CDREE, a tool that edits Cadillacs & Dinosaurs Readjusted, it has a level editor, seed randomizer and a few other features.
The tool is not complete yet, as you can see there are a few bugs, like those bikes having bugged palletes.
The game is dropping a lot of food because Kind is the easiest level the seed randomizer offers, which sounds appropriate for a test, and of course 1 of the 2 levels that is almost 100% configured.

Metal Slug 5 Survival (mslug5sv, Neogeo, arcade) - メタルスラッグ
Metal Slug 5 Survival is a hack of Metal Slug 5, a very interesting one actually, I would say that the 3 main changes are you only have 1 life per coin instead of 3, but you also have a lifebar, which allows you to take more than a single hit to die, every character has a special attack by pressing the start button, and you have more than 1 weapon slot, for those who already metal slug hacks with more than one weapon slot, this feature normally allows you to carry a weapon to another stage. The gameplay happened online on Fightcade

As you can see I didn't well because I didn't play Metal Slug 5 that much, so things doesn't few familiar to me, but I liked this hack so much that I will play it more to improve and bring you guys a better gameplay of it.

A test of the 1.0 version of FFAEE, it brings 3 new patches, the 1st that fixes the amount of points Guy and Cody gets after throwing an enemy, the 2nd disables barrels converting any item drop into treasures and the last removes the friendly fire, as you can see at the ending, Guy can't hit Cody.

This is a test of a hack of the arcade game Fighter's History Dynamite or Karnov's Revenge.
In this video, I tested the new version of Jean, the bug on his Needle Shower ABCD version was fixed, his Rondat got split into two moves, the second part of Rondat is now a new move called Backflip and its execution is D-U + Punch, the 1st part of Rondat is still called Rondat and it is now a super having charge B-QCF + Kick as its execution.

This is one of the final tests made before releasing this hack.
The matches are between my brother (P1) and me (P2), the level is not high at all because I am not playing fighting games for a very long time and my brother is learning how to play Karnov's Revenge.

Since the last test, a lot of bugs were fixed and the random difficulties are almost 100% finished, the crashes and soflocks that were happening when taking the car are gone and a new pallete for Lash Terhune was also added, I will probably improve his pallete a little bit more. CDREE looks almost finished.

Pirates of Dark Water Readjusted - ザ・パイレーツ・オブ・ダークウォーター
Pirates of Dark Water Readjusted is a hack of Pirates of Dark Water (SNES). In this hack both players can select the same characters without a need of a cheat code, all 2nd colors are changed and the limit of enemies spawning at the same time is 4 instead of 3, which increases the difficulty of the game.
The Super Nintendo hardware is somewhat limited, so it is a good idea to overclock the CPU if you want to play this game without slowdowns.
Ioz is the character with the most power, but he is also the slowest, watching the 1CC gameplay you will see that sometimes it is kind of hard to punch some enemies before they punch you.

At 37:09 by accident I press the hotkey to disable transparency effects.
At 59:55 by accident I press the emulator pause hotkey.
At 1:22:37 by accident I press the hotkey to disable drawing the sprites.
Getting a no death run in this hack is very difficult, so 1CC for now looks good.

Breakers Revenge Extra Mode is a hack of Breakers Revenge, a neogeo fighting game. I used to play Breakers Revenge, so I decide to have a look into this hack out of curiosity, there are basically unlimited possibilites of cancels, but you can also cancel hitstun, so you can basically escape all combos, which generates a complete chaos, but it is actually fun to explore the possibilities since you can basically do anything in this hack. The author is very skilled at rom hacking, so the game is heavily changed.
