Can You See A Laser Pointer From The Space Station?
Green laser pointers are amazingly useful tools for teaching the general public about the night sky, it's easy to point out specific targets and have everyone know what you mean. Sometimes people will point out satellites and even the ISS, so I wanted to figure out whether an astronaut on the ISS would be able to see lasers from people on the ground. Here's the original video of the ISS Flash project:
I have too many things to cover, so I thought I'd try rolling them into a single news style video, maybe it's a terrible idea, but who knows.

What's the best way to launch a rocket into orbit in KSP? Many of you are relearning with the new aerodynamics, others are learning for the first time. It turns out you shouldn't worry too much because a perfect ascent and a decent guess aren't too far apart in terms of payload to orbit.

For many Julian Gollop is best known as the creator of the XCom series of games. However in 1985, years before the inception of XCom he created 'Chaos' one of the finest games released for any 8bit system, so good it still stands up today. I lost many hours to this game, playing against up to 7 other friends for dominance over the realm.
Chaos Reborn is a remake with much greater scope, modernised graphics and proper online play (no more making your friends look away as you make your moves). It's looking extremely promising and I can't wait for this to be developed beyond the prototype

Playing Private Investigator in deep space, a simple insurance investigation quickly turns deadly as I contend with a sabotaged spacecraft, long space walks, wrecked space stations and punks who clearly don't want people sticking their nose where it's not wanted.

THIS GUIDE IS FOR AN OLD VERSION OF KSP.
"CAREER MODE" in this release is now "SCIENCE MODE" in the current release.
In the previous episode we unlocked the science lab, so I take a moment to explain how science works in more detail and, how the science lab can help. We also send a probe beyond the sphere of influence of the planet Kerbin, into deep space.

We've seen hundreds of rockets keel over and crash despite the best efforts of the pilots to keep them pointed at the heavens. If your rocket is exceeding the weak control capabilities of the capsule you need to redesign it to include stability and control features -
* Aerodynamic control surfaces like Wings and Fins
* Vectoring engines
* Reaction Control Systems (RCS)
* Auto Stability Control Modules
