Paul Dimattina and Voice for Victoria joined me to discuss the win of the #LetUsPlay campaign.
But with parks only half open (Under 12s only, QR codes required, no eating or drinking at parks) how much of a 'win' was it?
We revealed that it took 0 scientific evidence to close the parks, less than 0 evidence to open them again (cases are 5 times higher as we reopen them), and Brett Sutton himself admitted the closure was illegal per s9 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 (Vic) when he said it was purely to punish the parents.
The truth is the #LetUsPlay campaign worked because Dan's playground closure was the most unpopular part of Lockdown 6.0 and pushed his polling down to 44%. POLLING is why the playgrounds have been reopened. Nothing more.
Welcome to an illegal state where Dan Andrews and Brett Sutton are brazen enough to admit that they have breached our laws, because they have forgotten that they are #NotAboveTheLaw.
Playgrounds may seem like a minor issue and a minor win, but they make plain for even the most mainstream of Australians that government will act illegally when it suits them.

Professor Norman Fenton runs me through a hypothetical example of statistical illusions.
Taking a false positive rate of under 1% in C-19 tests, you would assume therefore that if you return a positive result, there is a 99% probability that you genuinely are infected.
Mathematically, statistically, and truthfully, this is incorrect. The Professor describes the common probabilistic fallacy known in legal circles as 'The Prosecutor's Fallacy'.
It turns out however that the example is not so hypothetical after all. A Cambridge University study on asymptomatic students, using confirmatory testing on the same samples, shows over 80% of those who first tested positive, were genuine false positives.
It points [CENSORED] purely through mathematical and statistical reasoning with no other explanation or contributing factor required.
