On the co-main you've got 'Boots' Ennis facing a slight step up against Custio Clayton.
Both fights are good and worth the watch.
We suspect Charlo pulls it out this time in a late stoppage.
With Boots it's hard to say. Clayton is a pretty good fighter in his own right but was unable to deal with Lipinets, who Boots dispatched by stoppage.
Boots tends to leave himself wide open upstairs, and Clayton's got power. Boots seems to remain focused on his opponent for now, so we suspect that it'll be a short night with Boots getting a knockout or stoppage within 6 rounds.

We still say Tommy Fury is a bum.
What you saw wasn't really a #Boxing match.
It was just two low-level guys with emotional baggage throwing punches and being dirty.
Tommy doesn't get past the C-level, and Jake - if he chooses to continue working - has potential but lacks ring IQ and adaptation.

At some point, people who call themselves fans need to stop falling for the 'eye test'. It lies all the time.

While both guys performed well, there was general disappointment on everyone except Cruz.
JoJo Diaz simply didn't show up. He walked forward with a high guard like Josh Clottey against Manny Pacquiao, and didn't take any risks. We gave Diaz ONE round, at a time when he could have performed way better. Haney was vulnerable any time Diaz bothered to throw.
Meanwhile, Isaac Cruz's performance was impressive, unexpectedly so, and it showed that while Tank is a brilliant offensive fighter, he has a few defensive holes to work on as he evolves into a different kind of fighter - one that takes a knockout if it comes rather than seeking it. He suffered a hand injury en route to a close decision win (Shades of Mayweather/Castillo I, actually), and immediately shot down a rematch.
We think that's a mistake. It was a great fight and would draw many fans to see Cruz get another shot.

Katie Taylor didn't "Clearly" win anything.
People online are being inconsistent, yet again.
Because if this were the men, nobody would have had Taylor winning that fight except for purists, and even then, everyone would have acknowledged a close decision win.
But for some reason when it's the women, these poeple no longer care about who landed the HARDER shots.

For someone who started way late, Jeff Horn had a hell of a career.
A win over a legend. One of a select few to beat that legend, of which all but one are certified future or current Hall of Famers.
A former world champion.
Key to the City of Brisbane.
Featured in worldwide news.
No matter what you think, he is and was a warrior in the ring, and worked hard to give the fans what they wanted - even when the fans weren't ready for his unique style.

This weekend isn't too exciting compared to the future, but everyone in the UK will have eyes on the main event.
