“If I hear another American saying: “Ah, Putin is a dictator and the Russians love autocrats, they are ignorant…” The Russians are deep, they are deeper than we are, they think things through in a deep and brooding fashion. And they are good people, they are kind people, they would take the shirt off their back to help you.”
Kadyrov was included in the Russian Book of Records as the person against whom the largest number of sanctions were imposed in the world.
Look at his face and see how many fucks does he give about the sanctions. According to him, about 70 restrictions have been imposed on him, his property and entourage. “I even overtook the North Korean leader, and yet they make Hollywood films about him,” Kadyrov ironically says.
Here is what he writes about this award :
To the applause of the hall, an unusual award ceremony took place. The editor-in-chief and founder of the Book of Records of Russia, President of the World Records Club Stanislav Konenko presented me with certificates of two records - "the largest number of sanctions restrictions imposed on a person" and "the largest number of sanctions restrictions imposed on a person, his relatives and associates in the world" . In addition, he awarded me the gold medal of the World Records Club. This achievement is a great honor for me. I'm proud of this result!
Captured AFU soldier says Ukrainian command is sending untrained soldiers into battle and urges fellow soldiers to lay down their arms
"...When I met Russians, I was fed, they gave me water, treated me kindly. No mean word was addressed me. I am begging all my brothers Ukrainians not to fight anymore. We're just being deceived, we don't know the whole truth. The Russians are very kind. I will be grateful to them for the rest of my life, that they treated me so kind..."
“When you fire depleted uranium munitions, sometimes they are pyro ferric, they catch fire themselves, but on contact they can also catch fire, and it also pulverizes the uranium into microscopic dust. So it's kind of the perfect storm of hazard. You've got toxic heavy metal, you've got radioactivity that can be contaminated with much higher level radioactivity from high-level radioactive waste,” Kevin Kamps, Radioactive Waste Watchdog at Beyond Nuclear, told Sputnik.
The duel was in 1967 between Gaston Deffere, Mayor of Marseille and Rene Ribiere.
Defferre was a participant in the last duel in France that took place in 1967 when Defferre insulted René Ribière at the French parliament and was subsequently challenged to a duel fought with swords. Defferre yelled ‘Taisez-vous, abruti!‘ (‘Shut up, stupid!’) at Ribière following an argument in the French National Assembly. Ribière demanded an apology, Defferre refused, so Ribière demanded satisfaction by duel. René Ribière lost the duel, having been wounded twice. He escaped relatively uninjured, however.
