My gecko is about 2 or 3 years old. I've been keeping him in an empty tank covered with paper towels at the bottom, a heating rock, and water dispenser. I also had a box he climbs under but i took it out of the tank so it wouldn't obscure the camera view. Originally published: 14 March 2008

After completing my Digital Systems class, I decided to try out my skills by constructing a 4-bit binary-coded decimal (BCD) to seven-segment display (SSD) circuit in Minecraft using redstone circuitry. I had some help from my friend doctorwat, who constructed the piston circuitry; I developed the BCD to SSD decoder you see behind the giant display. The first part of the video shows pages where I came up with the design for the decoder (boolean algebra, k-maps, etc). The schematic shown afterward in Xilinx ISE is the final design I created for the circuit. I demonstrate the implementation in Minecraft 1.1 to close out the video.
