Anti-abortion "Men's March" counter-protested, trolled as they rally throughout DC
Anti-abortion activists held a "Men's March" on Saturday (their answer to the "Women's March") from a Planned Parenthood to the Supreme Court in Washington DC.
The group was flanked by counter-protesters, one of whom was performance artist Michael Picard, who pretended to be with their group and chanted slogans like "our vagina, our choice!" before being forced to stay on the counter-protest side by police.
Abortion access supporter Derek Torstenson used a megaphone to counter-protest and drown out the anti-abortion "Men's March" as they rallied at the Supreme Court.
One of the anti-abortion activists attempted to take his umbrella, leading police to separate them.
"This is the chaos of the satanic spirit that has taken over our country," an anti-abortion speaker said.
After having identified Picard as trolling the anti-abortion group earlier, they tried to push him away as he re-entered the rally at the Supreme Court.
"We're here to spread the message that even though it's the woman's body, it's our choice," he said before breaking character and explaining how he uses satire to troll.
Police pushed back counter-protesters as the "Men's March" left the Supreme Court.
Picard continued trolling them, standing on the outskirts and saying "We're a bunch of angry white men afraid of something!"
