When Henry Cavill put on the red cape and became Superman many fans were overjoyed and thought he was the perfect fit. After the Snyder Cut was released on HBO Max many people thought there were be hope that we would eventually see a Man of Steel 2. After Henry Cavill repapered as Superman at the end of Black Adam many fans cheered with excitement. Well after Black Adams' box office bust it should have come as no surprise that The Rock taking over DC was probably gone. Turns out that was right. Shortly after James Gunn and Peter Safran were announced as the heads of the new formally DC Studios (DCU) Henry Cavill's return was squashed and many fans blamed James Gunn.
