As social media rises and the once frowned upon comic book culture becomes mainstream, many media figures that fuel the bad seem to be set on ruining the legacy of classic heroes. We've certainly seen this when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe One could call them "shills" as rarely do these types seem to even criticize anything that comes from DC or Marvel, unless it conflicts with their social preferences. In that case, they will fan the flames and advocate changes. Negative changes. All of this combines has created the current scenario where we have a lot of people involved in comic books and comic book film/tv adaptations, that aren't really passionate. Things have gotten so bad that there is a clear accepted narrative that people that have the power to bring about POSITIVE change, are too afraid to even take the position.
