After ten years of dealing with EBay I thought I had seen it all. At one time you were never quite sure about the sellers and did have a way to weed them out by purchasing from the longtime vendors. This kept fraud to a minimum and things went pretty smoothly. Now the tides have turned... It is the buyers that are the scam artists. They are a minority, most won't rip you but I recently encountered one that tried. Here is how it works, once you drop them some good feedback they strike. They file a fraud claim that they got the wrong item or some other nonsense. EBay sides with them immediately (BIG MISTAKE EBAY), and returns the money. You get your item back missing key elements or not at all. Want to turn the tables? If you suspect anything amiss, call EBay ASAP. Stay calm and clear. When you get your items back be certain to video the unboxing, it will come in handy for the people at EBay. It worked for me! EBAY must revamp this process immediately. If someone files a claim, no money is refunded until the goods in question are returned without anything missing or broken.
