Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection Mega Man ZX Playthrough Part 5 This part is special. Damn special. Because here is where we face off against some old foes. Mega Man ZX allows you to face off against Mavericks from Mega Man Zero 3 and 4. Before you start the game, press Y and you can choose either the Zero 3 Link or Zero 4 Link. Choose one, enter Area N-1 and then you can face off in a Boss Rush. From Mega Man Zero 3, you face off against four members of the Eight Gentle Judges aka Weil Numbers. They consist of the following: Blazing Flizard, Childre Inarabitta, Devilbat Schilt and Deathtanz Mantisk. From Mega Man Zero 4, you fight against four members of Weil's Einherjar Eight Warriors. They consist of Sol Titanion, Pegasolta Eclair, Noble Mandrago and Fenri Lunaedge. Defeat all eight and you can access another room where you can gain a Mysterious Rock. This Mysterious Rock has a special power that can only be unlocked after beating the game. But if you progress further through Area N, you will have a showdown against one other foe: the original Zero, Omega Zero. “Ware we meshia nari!” translated as I am the Messiah! Omega Zero is best categorized as a super boss as it were. You thought he was hard in Zero 3, guess what? It's just as bad, if not, worse. This guy will wreck you, even on Normal and you have a high life bar. He has a lot of attacks that will wreck you good. Let's list them down. He has his traditional three-hit Saber combo. Dangerous up close. Next he has something from Mega Man X2. He fires two charged buster shots and follows it with a Wave Slash. Jump the two shots then jump the slash, unless you are Model HX then you can dash up to avoid entirely. He has a Charged Slash attack that causes rocks to fall from above. Avoid by dashing. At times Omega Zero will dash close to you. He'll follow with a Rising Uppercut Slash. Avoid that and use a Charge attack to knock him out of it. He'll jump in the air and do a Kuuenzan that sends out small waves. If you can avoid, that's good. The Rekkoha he has comes in two varieties. One fires small waves that spread and another covers him outright. It not only protects him from all damage but makes him invincible to all attacks. This one is pretty unique as it's one part slice-of-life, one part RPG. This is Blue Reflection Second Light. It's actually a sequel to the original Blue Reflection. I hope that Koei Tecmo can bring the original onto Switch. But anyway, the plot of Second Light centers on three individuals: Ao Hoshizaki, Kokoro Utsubo & Yuki Kinjou. These three get transported to some strange floating academy. Now they must find a way to not only return home but also find any clues as to what happened. At the same time, they discover a strange place housed by demons and must fight back against them in order to survive and find the truth behind it. This game is an RPG. It shares some similarities to the Atelier games but it's not only one part slice of life, one part adventure and RPG. It's a pretty interesting idea but if you actually know what you're doing to press on with the story, you'll do fine. Plus you must build your bonds with your teammates so that they can get stronger. This means talking to them, doing quests and even going on dates with them. Yes. I don't mind it but hey, it's harmless fun. Give it a shot.
