The HD textures are only active ingame. The FMV cutscenes are in native resolution due to the emulator being set to switch to software mode when FMV's play. (Plus the Upscaled HD Texture mod does not affect pre rendered FMV's) If the cutscenes were not pre rendered like in GTA Vice City for example, then the HD textures would be applied but that is not the case with God Of War. I am not sure if they will play correctly in hardware (HD) mode because I set the PCSX2 Global setting to switch to software mode. A lot of PS2 games with pre rendered cutscenes have problems playing correctly in hardware mode, so I have all my games switch to software mode automatically just for convenience. Parallel Dimension is a rom hack that introduces the GBA version of F-Zero's opposite drifting mechanic which can help you land precise turns. It also supports quick recovery so you don’t waste time after an accident. The track redesign is really good coupled with the new drifting. The difficulty starts off fairly normal, just a touch harder than the original game so it's not too hard to progress for casual gamers. I wish they would make an F-Zero mod more like Mario Kart with power ups, and multiplayer possibly, so we can shoot the opponents, instead of having decoy cars everywhere to mess you up.
