In the world of game development, game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine and Godot tend to take up a lot of the spotlight. For those out there that prefer to work at a bit lower level or want to roll their own game engine built on existing technology, this is the realm of the game framework. Today we look at about 2 dozen of the best (arbitrary statement for sure... most popular might be a better choice) game frameworks available for a variety of programming languages including C#, C/C++, Lua, Haxe, Rust, JavaScript/Typescript and more.
Today we have another Humble Bundle of interest to game develoeprs, this one is the Learn to Make Games in Unity 2022 Humble Bundle by GameDev.tv. This one features youtuber Code Monkey in a new Turn Based Strategy courses, as well as a ton of beginner and intermediate level Unity courses on 2d, 3D, design patterns, mobile and more.

Some people were asking when the Godot keynote was going to happen at GDC. The answer is probably... never. These GDC keynotes cost money... lots and lots and lots of money. This is a problem for open source projects.
There have however been several developments of Godot of late, so I did a mini keynote of sorts to get you up to speed on the world of Godot. Please note, none of this was done in an official capacity... it's just a fun little video to draw attention to recent developments at Godot while it's under the massive shadow of GDC!

A new humble bundle is out, this one is the Beat Goes On by MAGIX. Be very careful, most of the software available in this bundle was featured in prior Humble Bundles. Today at GDC Epic Games just announced FAB, a combination of Unreal Marketplace + Quixel + MegaScans + Sketchfab + ArtStation, acting as a universal, game engine agnostic marketplace to buy and sell game dev assets, all with a 88/12 commission structure.
