So, let's start with... Picking A Niche: When you’re thinking about creating a YouTube channel or even if you started a channel, it’s important to figure out what your channel is going to about…You want to make your channel around “that thing” and get a selective set of viewers interested in that. And I say selected amount because if you’re trying to speak to everyone about everything and just trying to be trendy…. You’ll be speaking to no one and nothing will stick. Not Planning Your Videos: The second mistake I see is not planning out or putting much thought or effort into their videos. They just go into making a video blindly and just aren't keeping or even grabbing peoples attention. I mean to at least make your audio decent or make videos in a nice area… you have to at least have one hell of a personality to keep my attention. And I think you all could agree with that. Not Giving An Experience: Give the viewer an experience. Apart of getting an interesting experience when people you are talking to is with telling a story. Yes this can very literally mean telling a story… But the story can very much be anything inspirational, educational or entertaining. If people aren’t getting some sort of experience out of your videos then they will get bored and not even digest what your saying to them and even more important NOT CONNECT TO YOU OR YOUR VIDEO. Bad Or No Editing: Use editing to help support your personality and let people know the kinds of things you're into. Whether that's putting some clips or memes of things that I think are funny which lets people get to know my sense of humor or even use simple editing like zooming, text, sounds fx, to amplify my sarcasm or any emotion. Also a great edit will allow you to remove footage that's not needed. Is the viewer going to really get anything valuable or add to the experience of the video…If the answer is no… CUT IT OUT!!!
