The good old HP laserjet 1200 talks PCL5, not PCL6.
To get the printer working on Windows 10, you need to install the latest PCL5 driver.
It wasn't delivered for Windows 10, but there's a working driver anyway.
Here's how to uninstall the PCL6 driver and install the PCL5 version.
