روس نے فضائی حملوں کا دفاع کرنے والے جدید ترین ’ایس 400‘ میزائلوں کی انڈیا کو فراہمی شروع کر دی ہے۔ امریکہ کی جانب سے پابندیوں کے اندیشوں کے سبب خریداری کا معاہدہ طے پا جانے کے باوجود انڈیا ان جدید میزائلوں کو روس سے حاصل کرنے سے ہچکچاہٹ کا شکار تھا۔ اطلاعات کے مطابق #انڈیا اور #چین کے مابین کشیدگی کے بعد چین نے مشرقی لداخ میں ایکچول کنٹرول لائن پر یہی روسی ساختہ میزائل سسٹم نصب کیا ہوا ہے۔ انڈیا نے روس سے تقریباً ساڑھے پانچ ارب ڈالر مالیت کے پانچ ایس 400 ٹرائمپف #میزائل نظام معاہدہ سنہ 2018 میں کیا تھا۔ لیکن سابق ٹرمپ انتظامیہ کے دور میں امریکہ اور روس کے درمیان بڑھتی ہوئی کشیدگی کے درمیان امریکہ نے بیشتر ممالک پر روس سے ہتھیار خریدنے پر پابندی عائد کر دی تھی۔ #ایس_400 بہت پہلے انڈیا کو فراہم کیے جانے تھے لیکن امریکہ کی ‎اس حوالے سے تنبیہ کے سبب یہ میزائل انڈیا نہیں آ سکے تھے۔ لیکن اب اچانک انڈین اور روسی اہلکاروں نے یہ اعلان کیا ہے کہ ان میزائلوں کے پہلے یونٹ کی سپلائی شروع ہو گئی ہے۔ اطلاعات کے مطابق یہ میزائل نظام الگ الگ حصوں میں فضائیہ اور بحریہ کے مال بردار جہازوں کے ذریعے انڈیا کے ایک دفاعی اڈے پر لائے جا رہے ہیں۔ روسی ماہرین انڈیا پہنچ چکے ہیں اور وہ ان میزائلوں کے الگ الگ ٹکڑوں کو یہاں ایک ساتھ جوڑ کر مکمل ایس 400 مزائل نظام میں تبدیل کرنے میں مصروف ہیں۔ ماہرین کا خیال ہے کہ اسے اسمبل کرنے کے بعد مارچ تک انھیں نصب کر دیا جائے گا۔ ایس 400 میزائل کو دنیا کا جدید ترین اور انتہائی مؤثر فضائی دفاعی نظام خیال کیا جاتا ہے۔ یہ نظام فضا سے کیے جانے والے سبھی حملوں یعنی ڈرون، میزائل، راکٹ اور جنگی جہازوں سے کیے جانے والے حملوں سے تحفظ فراہم کرنے کی اہلیت رکھتا ہے۔ ترکی اور چین یہ میزائل سسٹم روس سے پہلے ہی حاصل کر چکے ہیں۔ سعودی عرب، مصر اور قطر بھی اسے خریدنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں۔ ------------------------------------------------------------ The Indian Air Force’s (IAF) imminent commissioning of the first of five Russian Almaz-Antey S-400 Triumf self-propelled surface-to-air (SAM) missile systems, deliveries of which began recently by sea and air, will exponentially boost the country’s air defense network. India had ordered five S-400 systems in October 2018 for $5.5 billion, with all deliveries to be completed by early-2023, despite the coronavirus pandemic. Over the coming weeks, the assembly of the IAF’s first S-400 unit will be completed jointly by Russian and Indian technicians, following which it will undergo ‘acceptance’ trials before becoming fully operational. Several batches of IAF personnel have undergone instruction at the S-400’s Almaz-Antey facility in Moscow since mid-2019 to assemble, maintain and operate one of the world’s most advanced air defense systems. Other than filling in numerous operational gaps, triggered by the steady drawdown of IAF fighter squadrons from a sanctioned strength of 42 to around 29 squadrons presently, the long and medium-range S-400 air defense systems (NATO classification: SA-21 ‘Growler’) will also offset India’s inadequate radar coverage and limited SAM capability that remains under development. The S-400’s would also be seamlessly integrated into the IAF’s automated Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS) air defense network, which incorporates all ground-based and airborne sensors, other air defense weapon systems and varied command-and-control nodes.
