Sky News host Paul Murray says the left is “deliberately” undermining Jacinta Price after the Sydney Morning Herald published her $76,000 business flight expenses.

It comes as the Shadow Indigenous Australians Minister opposes the upcoming Voice to Parliament referendum.

“So the suggestion of course here is that she’s some sort of a rorter – she’s someone who loves a bit of the champagne,” Mr Murray said.

“This was a surgical attempt to go after someone to try to get them to, well, not be as effective as they have been at putting forward their point of view.

“Politicians’ travel is very difficult to work out at the moment and when it is released it is often released by the Australian Parliament House – you’d learn about every senator and every MP on the same day.

“But someone somewhere decided to use freedom of information laws to say, let’s see how Jacinta Price travels around.”
