The red dot and scope hold zero even after a drop test and being taken on and off rails (lots of companies claim holding zero when taken off, this one and the Nikko Sterling scopes are the only ones that I have tested that to be true). Overall cost of the entire package for me was $87.50 from https://www.m1surplus.com during their christmas sale. Now I believe they are $120 dollars from them as well as https://www.ar15goa.com. The groups we shot at 100 yards are consistent with that of a 10 power optic. I cannot say enough good things. The downsides include the rating for this scope is for .223 guns due to recoil limitations and the red dot having inverse altitude adjustments and no clicking to ensure adjustments have been made at some preset interval.
