On March 8, 2006, now-defunct developer Nucleosys released their game, Scratches, a point-and-click horror with first person perspective. The game received mixed to positive reviews overall, but its sales were insufficient to prevent the developer from going out of business.
As a point-and-click adventure, generally only the mouse is used in the game. LMB interacts or moves the player, RMB opens inventory, and Esc opens the game menu.
Dark Legends surround the old abandoned Blackwood house, secluded far away in the northern wastelands. For writer Michael Arthate, this cold, solitary atmosphere is fodder for his restless imagination. But Michael soon becomes distracted by the mysteries offered up, as he follows a trail exploring and delving into the secrets of the past. As he is drawn deeper into the story, his sleep is shattered by mysterious noises, and he is plagued by nightmares that cross into reality. Will Michael ultimately succumb to madness, or will he solve the mystery of Blackwood house and ultimately put the demons to rest? Let's play Scratches and find out together.

This 2-D game was originally made in Ludum dare 33. The former game jam group, Maxi & The Gang, rebranded as Circus Horse, but not before releasing this short horror experience. A point-and-click, LMB is used throughout, either in a click or a drag function.
A woman driving late at night finds she doesn't get very far before the car dies. Various clues around the car begin to suggest that she may not be whom she appears. As sights and sounds outside the car begin to threaten, she desperately tries to get her car to start again. Let's play Anxiety: Lost Night to see what happens next.

On 14 June 2013, Naughty Dog's epic story of a man escorting a teenage girl in a post-apocalyptic United States of America was published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game received extremely high praise from critics and gamers alike, winning over 240 "Game of the Year" awards.
The game is played exclusively on the Playstation, originally the PS3 and later (as for this playthrough) as a remastered version for the PS4. Controls are: ◯ to crouch; ✕ to climb; △ to interact / search; ⬜ melee, also as a QTE response (such as break loose when grabbed); L1 to aim; R1 to shoot / throw (or to reload when not aiming); L2 to sprint; R2 to listen; DPad left/right to select weapon; DPad up/down to select consumable; and R3 (press down on the right stick) to use the flashlight.
After a parasitic virus devastates the United States, things fall into disarray. Communities similar to towns are established, with military-style guards, while some revolutionary groups harass the settlements. Joel, his brother Tommy, and his daughter Sarah all attempt to flee Austin, Texas, to safety. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned. 20 years later, Joel is worn out, just going through the motions, when he receives a new lease on life. Let's play The Last of Us and join the characters on their dramatic journey. #LastOfUs #playthrough #letsplay #blind #TheLastOfUs

DONTNOD Entertainment released their horror RPG, Vampyr, on June 4, 2018. It is the recipient of several awards, with user and critical reviews generally being above average to good. This title comes after the developer's previous success with Life is Strange; similarly, Vampyr requires players to make choices that can have major impacts on the citizens in London, England.
Controls tend to be in many ways similar to those of standard RPGs. W, A, S, and D are for movement. When Spacebar is pressed at the same time as a movement direction, Jonathan will dash in the indicated direction; this is the game's version of dodging. The number keys 1–5 access primary combat abilities (5 being your ultimate). T and G will use a serum if equipped. LMB attacks with your primary weapon; if it is a one-handed item, a secondary weapon can be equipped and used via RMB.
Dr. Jonathan Reid, recently returned from the battlefields of the First World War, finds something terribly wrong with himself. He has an uncontrollable hunger, a thirst for blood, something that's difficult to control. He has become an Ekon, a breed of vampire most closely resembling humans still. As he becomes more familiar with the undead world, he learns there are threats to the citizens of London that are at least as dangerous as the Spanish Flu. Will Jonathan be able to maintain his humanity and help to heal the city? Let's play Vampyr and see. #Vampyr # #xexor #blind

Released on August 10, 2018 — nearly 5 years after their premier title, Contrast — Compulsion Games released We Happy Few, a game of paranoia and survival, in a drugged-out, dystopian English city in 1964. Unlike the older child of their earlier teen-level game, We Happy Few presents players in the role of three different characters (one per Act in the game) trying to escape the dystopian town of Wellington Wales.
Standard W, A, S, and D controls are used, with Ctrl being a held crouch and C toggling between crouching and standing. Typically, E and V present the player with two different options in various situations.
Within an alternative timeline of history, the United States never came to the aid of the Allies in World War II, leaving the United Kingdom to fend off Germany alone. The Battle of Britain was lost to Germany, which subsequently continued bombardment for a time and eventually occupied it.
Some time during the occupation, the population of Wellington Wells did what they considered to be a "Very Bad Thing". While it forced the German occupiers to completely leave their island, the guilt over their actions left the citizens guilt-ridden. The "solution" came in the form of a new hallucinogenic drug called: "Joy". Benefits include the suppression of all unhappy memories, leading users to experience incredible joy and happiness. However, the drug also decreased users' recognition of moral and long-term consequences. What's worse, it leaves users easily manipulable.
Can we help the three characters all escape from the island to a new life, or will the characters remain forever in their drug-addled society? Let's play We Happy Few and find out. #WeHappyFew #playthrough #letsplay #blind

The Deep End Games and Feardemic partnered to release Perception on May 30, 2017, the story of a blind girl's experience in a house with a presence that doesn't want any visitors. The unique mechanic of echolocation allows you to "see" where you are going in an otherwise pitch black environment. Anything from the wind outside to your own footsteps can help you find your way. You can even tap your cane to create sound waves that linger a short time. Just be wary that a malevolence lingers in the house, and it may find you if you use your cane too often.
Some controls for the game are familiar, while others are new. The standard W, A, S, and D are used for movement, but there is no jump. Instead, Spacebar taps your cane. Left Ctrl turns you toward your next objective, so C is instead used to toggle crouch. LMB is used to interact with items (turn off a radio, open a door, pick up an item, play a recording, etc.).
Haunted by certain images in her dreams (a rope, a ticket, an apple, and an axe), the blind-from-birth Cassie goes to Echo Bluff (near Gloucester, Massachusetts) on her own, seeking answers in an old house. Fortunately, the house has been abandoned. Unfortunately, something lurks within that refused to leave when everyone else did. Let's play Perception and learn the secrets of Echo Bluff.

Released in February 2008, Frictional Games continued the Penumbra series with a second installment, Black Plague. Received with generally favorable reviews, the game was initially intended to be the final chapter of the story, but another installment, Requiem, was released later the same year.
The game features the same controls as the previous chapter, with the standard W, A, S, and D for movement, Q and E to lean around corners, C to crouch, Space to jump, Tab for inventory, and LMB to interact (use an item in your inventory or to "use" an item like a computer, a door, etc.). N also opens the notebook, allowing the player to review previously copied-down notes or to see what tasks need to be completed to advance in the game.
Whereas the protagonist of the first game, Philip, was knocked out at the end of the story, Black Plague begins by telling players everything they will see is a flashback of Philip, described in an e-mail sent to a friend. After the introduction, players then take control of Philip again, from his waking up after the end of the first game to the end of his journey prior to sending the e-mail.
Philip wakes in a locked room but escapes, soon to find himself in an underground research facility of some kind. Over the course of the game, he learns where he is, what he might need to do to find his father (the reason for his coming here in the first place), and what has befallen those who were stationed here prior to his arrival. With a threat now loose throughout the facility, Philip races against time and hope — to find his father and to escape alive. Since this is a flashback mentioned in a farewell e-mail to a friend, it is unlikely the outcome for Philip ends well, but to know what became of him, let's play Penumbra: Black Plague.
