Welcome back to Mythical Meanderings! In this adventure into the unknown, we dive deep into the shadowy corners of folklore and cryptid mythology, exploring the bewildering mysteries of the Bunyip, Ogopogo, and the notorious Jersey Devil.
Embark on a journey with us to the Australian Outback as we delve into indigenous lore, piecing together the enigma that is the Bunyip, a creature as intriguing as the land itself.
From the land Down Under, we paddle our way across the Pacific to the serene yet eerie waters of Canada's Lake Okanagan. The Ogopogo, Canada's most celebrated sea monster, awaits us. Does it lurk beneath the calm surface, hidden from human gaze, or is it just a ripple of imagination?
Our next stop takes us to the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, home to the infamous Jersey Devil. With its chilling scream and ominous figure, it has been the subject of nightmares and legends for centuries. But what's the real story behind this east-coast cryptid?
Expect a roller coaster ride of intrigue, history, culture, and of course, the spine-tingling thrill of the unknown.

An example of the incredible moodiness and unpredictability of a river environment. Rivers should be respected and never underestimated, same goes for all bodies of water.

Today I look at somebody who has made a career out of stretching the history of India, Abhijit Chavda. More specifically the Aryan invasion and the origins of the peoples of India.
Some notes:
1. At some points I said Yamnaya when I should have said Andronovo etc. which are cultures that directly descend from the Yamnaya, but took on a unique characteristic as they migrated.
2. He says the Indus Valley is the oldest civilization on earth, which is another lie. That honor goes to Mesopotamia.
3. I respect India and it's people but I have issues with people who wield history as a political tool.

Here I draw and discuss lightly the Icelandic Rune Poem, as well as recite the poetic stanzas alongside. Hopefully this is a relaxing and informative introduction to the runes and the rune poem.
