This 2004 Honda Civic seemed like a pretty easy fix but after pulling the codes it may be a bit more broken than I expected. @100PercentJake came over to talk IMAs and we took the car on a drive cycle, cleared the codes and they all came right back. Looks like it may need more work than just a battery rebuild to be correct, now it's time to dig into it. Starting the New Year off with a bang, a big one where a lot of metal comes flying by my head. We did the thing though and bought the cheapest John Deere 420C crawler tractor we could find on the internet! This is a 1957 420-C with a very cool serial number 112345, it's a two cylinder upright gas engine with a Davis bucket loaded (a very rough one) mounted on it. Tracks are in pretty good shape, the undercarriage looks reasonable, and it is very stuck. We're going to get this tank of a tractor unstuck and drive it! Let's go autocrossing! Today we're taking a day off working on cars to have some fun with them. First Amberghini and I go autocrossing at Mini Challenge, it was her first time and after getting used to the cars for a bit she loved it. Mini Challenge travels around the country driving this fleet of John Cooper Works Minis and one S, they put on events all over the country. I've gotta mention the JCW exhaust sounds killer. After a very short but fun autocross session in 5 different cars we headed over the Walser Lexus to drive the LC500 for the first time. The Lexus LC500 blew my very low expectations out of the water. My expectation was a fatter, heavier grand touring car with the heart of the RC F. What I drove was a exquisitely finished grand tourer with a far better transmission, heavenly sounds, and the right amount of power.
