Reaching the past, Link finds Impa who is on the floor due to Ghirahim pushing her aside. From here on out, you need to race to the bottom and stop Ghirahim from resurrecting his master. It means you will have to face Bokoblins, lots of them along with Moblins, Stalfos, the works. This is the only negative that I have with this because this is just padding. Padding to an extreme. Fortunately if you have max health, plenty of Potions that can restore your health, you should be fine. Then you have to face Ghirahim and by this point, he's pissed and he's ready to rip right through you. This is a 2-phase fight. Phase 1 has you needing to attack and push him down. While you force him down, use a Finish Blow to damage his chest. Keep going until you drop him down a 3rd or 4th time. This leads to Phase 2 where he brings out a sword. At first it's simple but then he brings out a huge sword that you need to swipe to destroy it and then poke his chest with the blade. It can take a while because if you fail to break the blade, he will repair it and you have to destroy it again. After defeating Ghirahim, he yammers about having bought the time needed to use Zelda as a sacrifice to bring back his master, revealed to be Demise. Shockingly Demise is in no mood for Ghirahim's crap and strips him of his form, becoming a dark Master Sword. He then throws Zelda away since he has no use for her but Groose catches her and then tells Link that he has to take down Demise to save her. So Link follows Demise into some void and then the two fight. Demise assures Link that once he's done with him, he will rid the world asunder. Demise is a 2-phase fight. Phase 1 will require you to repel his strikes then counter with blows. Not hard but he can hit like a truck. Phase 2 is when lightning strikes and that's when you need to do a Skyward Strike to him. Bear in mind that Demise will do the same so you NEED to get yours ready before he does. Otherwise expect to get zapped hard. Trust me. I know. Once you stun it, you need to do a Finish Blow quickly. With the Space Pirates' operations in shambles, Meta Ridley destroyed and all 12 Artifacts obtained, the path is open to the Impact Crater. It's here where we see that Metroids are everywhere. Regular Metroids and Fission ones too. But what we are really up against is the menace responsible for bringing this poison onto Tallon IV, Metroid Prime. Metroid Prime is a 2-phase fight. Phase 1 will require you to change your beams to deal damage to him. If you notice a specific color on it, use the specific beam to damage it. Yellow = power, Purple = wave, White = ice and Red = plasma. After dealing enough damage, it'll rush in to damage you. Go into morph ball and move away. Expect to rinse and repeat until it's health goes down. Now this leads to Phase 2. It's here where the only way to take them down is with Phazon. Metroid Prime will start to spawn up fields of Phazon then move about. You need to switch between the Combat Visor, X-Ray Visor and Thermal Visor to find it and take it down. And to take it down, you need Phazon. You need to be on Phazon to go into Hypermode and unleash a full-powered Phazon Blast. It'll drain down it's health and can take a while as you'll contend with Metroids as well. Power Bombs are going to help. Keep it up until it goes down. After dying, in a last ditch effort to save itself, Metroid Prime tries to steal all the Phazon from Samus' suit. Samus had no time to figure out what happened. She had to leave the Impact Crater and does so, reaching her ship. As the Impact Crater is reduced to nothing, Samus watches as the many Chozo Spirits send their thanks for freeing Tallon IV from this great poison. Like in the original Metroid Prime, your overall percentage is determined by Item Collection. Since I have obtained 100% completion, we unlock an additional scene. Despite having died at the hands of Samus, Metroid Prime has absorbed the Phazon from her suit. In turn this allows it to obtain a new form, becoming Dark Samus. It's been a lot of fun with Metroid Prime Remastered. Metroid Prime is a fun game and the Remaster of this is so much better. The fact that Nintendo shadow dropped this is a surprise. God was it worth it? Everything about the game is a massive improvement over the original. Also this has a New Game+ where if you miss any scans, you can seek them out and there you go. Like Goal: 15 Difficulty: Normal It all comes down to this and I say it here, this is where everything comes to a close. There's no going back. It's final battle time. The whole thing is a cinematic boss rush. First you will face off against three Whisper apparitions: Whisper Rubrum, Viridi and Croceo. They are protecting the Whisper Harbinger and taking them out is necessary to damage the Harbinger. At some point, you will have to contend with all three merging to become Whisper Bahamut. Taking him out will separate the three but you need to take them all out to fully defeat the Harbinger. You eventually have your one-on-one fight against Sephiroth. It starts with Cloud solo but eventually Aerith and Tifa will team up with you. He is tough as nails and you'll need to put a lot of focus on guarding and countering. It's also a multi-phase fight and each phase will add some more damaging stuff. If you block his elemental attacks, you can avoid with a dodge roll afterwards. Oh and his Heartless Angel has a set range so you can avoid it outright. Get hit by it and everyone drops to 1 HP. Use that time to heal everyone. And if you fail to defeat Sephiroth in a set time, he'll unleash Supernova and wipe you out. Defeating Sephiroth means you beat the game. I provide my final thoughts on the game though for me, I'm going to take my time grinding AP and gearing up for Hard Mode. Thanks for watching everyone. It's been a lot of fun.
