Still Report #423 - Prez Candidate Roundup
So here’s where I stand as of Sept. 1, 2015.
Democrats:
Hillary Clinton should be toast – but – I’ll believe it when I see at least a felony indictment – nothing less will knock her out.
Bernie Sanders: First of all, Bernie is a socialist. Bigger government is 180 degrees away from what’s needed in the political discourse for the next century or so.
The one good thing is that he sort of fuzzily correctly identifies that bankers are the problem, but either he doesn’t know, or doesn’t dare precisely enunciate the real solution.
We, the people, have to take back control over the nation’s money supply. Catch phrases like “paying down the debt” or “auditing the Fed” will not do. Here’s the correct catch phrase: “No More National Debt”. Sovereign borrowing must be outlawed.
Most of the evil in this world is funded by the ascendance of the bank money system – where all money is created by banks as interest-bearing loans.
State money – in most of the “developed” world has now been reduced to around 3% of the money supply of most sovereign nations.
This is what drives the growing power of the vote buying machine in Washington, and nothing short of America outlawing government borrowing will fix it.
Joe Biden: His gaffs would make my job a lot more fun, but unless Hillary goes down, Biden will stay home.
Jim Webb: Webb is the Dem’s big hope for the future. Look for him to get some exposure this time, in preparation for the future.
Republicans:
Carson: Actually Carson was my first choice – until I saw him early on. He is soooo weak. He’s right on the issues, and probably incorruptible, but he just seems to be a naïve fawn in a Tiger’s ring. Was in touch with his campaign early on and his argument is excellent: he only needs to win 18% of the black vote to win. I can still support him wholeheartedly.
Ted Cruz: He keeps trying to win my heart, but I just can’t forgive him for voting to give Obama more power via Fast Track. Plus, I saw his father in person and he said Ted supported these “wonderful” “free” trade agreements.
Again, in case in needs repeating, there are no “free” trade deals. It’s all a lie. When it comes to the health of the American economy, every single one of them is a “slave trade” deal and must be rejected. I don’t hear Ted Cruz saying that.
Jeb Bush: Absolutely rejected. Selling away Florida’s pension funds to Lehman just before the Lehman crash in exchange for a lifetime job as a big banker eliminates him from consideration forever more.
Carly Fiorina: liked her at first, but then the Jesse Jackson connection surfaced. Subsequently, many HP IT types have written in regarding her activities there. I understand that there is more to come out on Miss Carly. At this point, I just don’t trust her. She’s doing a good job of propounding the straight Republican line, but has she stepped out of the box just once to say something radical – like Mexico is unloading their jails into the U.S.? No.
John Kasich: A great Congressman, a great FOX TV host, probably a great Ohio governor, but you just get the feeling that he waited one presidential cycle too many and should have jumped in 2 or 3 months earlier than he did. His wait till late strategy might have worked in another era, but not this time.
Scott Walker: I just don’t get why at the start of campaign season, there was so much media support for this guy. He has shown me absolutely nothing.
Marco Rubio: Another guy who I could have supported – even a month ago. However, once I realized that Rubio headed the infamous Gang of 8 in the Senate – and understood that the Gang of 8 was all about keeping an open borders policy to keep cheap labor flooding into the U.S. to benefit the so-called Masters of the Universe (see Still Report 412) -- all of a sudden Rubio’s polished presentations seemed scary and scripted. Cannot support until he says something that shakes up this system.
Lindsey Graham: Doesn’t deserve any comment except that his name needs to be carved into infamy as the only Republican Senator to vote against Bill Clinton’s impeachment conviction during Clinton’s Senate trial.
Rand Paul: Rand, peace is good, but Christians are being beheaded en masse in the Middle East, women being traded back and forth as sex slaves. Don’t you think someone needs to step in? The U.S. is capable of ending the worst of this in a single month – tops. Stay in the U.S. Senate. You have a place there and we need you there.
Chris Christie: He’s saying a lot of right things, but please, he’s just a pretend shaker upper. Bridgegate was just the tip of the iceberg with Christie. Cannot support in any way.
Rick Santorum: Unfortunately, despite perhaps being the best-qualified candidate, time has just passed him by. So sorry.
Rick Perry: No. He’s done.
