Innokin Ares MTL RTA - by Phil and Dimi
Today we take a look at the collaboration between Innokin, P. Busardo and Dimi the vapingreek. With the resurgence of mouth to lung tanks over the last couple of months those of us who have never only been direct to lung vapers now have a choice of some very good MTL rebuildable tanks. One of these new tanks is the Innokin Ares. The Ares has a similar under coil area flow as the 1st Digi flavor Siren tank that was very popular last year. The deck on the Ares is very easy to build on and the tank is very easy to fill. The air flow control is adjustable to suit how you vape. As a small comparison both the Ares and Siren 2 are very similar in performance in my opinion, they are about the same, there is very little if any difference between them both.

Today we take a look at the Wotofo Gear V2. The Wotofo Gear V2 is a 24mm single coil RTA with fixed airflow. Made of stainless steel and PCTG plastic. This DL tank was better than I thought it would be having a fixed airflow. The flavour is really good considering the amount of airflow you get when taking a draw. It easy to build and the flat head screws are a good size, The coil placement is notched to hold to coil wire while fastening down. Filling the 3.5ml RTA is easy when you remember to unscrew using the fixed non replaceable drip tip. This RTA shouldn't be written off as it preform's really well for an open direct to lung tank. Priced in the UK from £20 to £25 it's worth a look for you cloud chukers.
All in all I'm glad I didn't write this one off as I am really enjoying the vape I get from this RTA.

Today we take a look at the Think Vape Thor Special Version Mod. The Think Vape Thor is a dual 18650 battery mod the has VW, Bypass, TC NI, TI, SS316. The Think Vape Thor is 88.5 x 46 x 32mm has a 0.96 oled screen and is controlled by the ST200 chip it is made from ABS plastic. Resistance range is from 0.005 ohm's to 3.5 ohm's. The Think Vape Thor has all the protections you need in a mod. This is a great all day banger that doesn't cost the earth. Priced as of this date from £17.99 to £30 in the UK
All in all this is a good mod and well worth the price.

Today we have the first of this years Retro Reviews and to kick it off we have the Innokin CoolFire 1 that started to make an appearance in December 2013. This a tube set regulated tube mod set at 8.5W output. There's no adjustment to this device. The device runs on a single 18350 battery but there was an 18650 adapter that was released some time later. The kit came with the iClear 30B tank that didn't have a good reputation. The tube mod has a 510 and ego fitting, a lot of people that purchased this device didn't use the tank but preferred to use a Pro tank on the device.
All in all I love the look of this tube mod but performance I believe was not the best compared to some other devices that were on the market.

To day I look at a Disposable Pod system from a local company based in Oldham you I'm talking about iBreathe. The iBreathe Xero is a disposable pod with a 500mAh battery, 1ohm coils and pre filled 2ml of 20mg nic salt. There are five flavours to chose from and you can purchase them for around £5.99 each. iBreathe claim you can get up to 600 draws from a single pod this I can't confirm as this is an out of the box review. Links are not allowed so you will have to use your google-fu to purchase these disposable pods.
Flavour is really good from the flavours provided. It is defiantly one for someone making the switch to think about.
All in all the flavour is really good, the draw is smooth and device is well made.

Amendment, the pods do cope with high VG if you leave them for an hour they will vape just fine for the average user. I still do not recommend chain vaping high VG in these pods but it can be done.
Today we look at the new pod system from 88Vape, yes im talking about the Zillion pod system. The battery capacity is 350mAh and the overall dimensions are 88*40*16.5, 1.2 ohm ceramic coils, 2ml refillable pods, 4 out put levels 3.0v, 3.3v, 3.6v and 3.9v.
The pods are only recommended to refill up to 8 times but at this point my first pod is on its 12 refill and theres no drop in flavour or vapour so far.
The 88Vape Zillion pod system can be found on the 88Vape website starting with the Promo version at £10, normal version at £15 and the limited edition Rainbow at £20. Replacement pods cost £3 each so for you Nikola Delorean users you can get the pods and that can only be a bonus.
All in all this is a very good looking pod system and a true MTL pod system, fit and finish is outstanding and the flavour and vapour from this 1.2 ohm coil is very very good. I would recommend this pod system to a beginner.
